Chicano Boy Taco

We needed a yummy place for lunch for visiting adult grandson and dog. Very yummy food, easy parking, short wait, accommodating staff. Close to Gypsy Hill Park, another great dog friendly spot in amazing Staunton.

Definition of mediocre. Shrimp tacos were served cold and the shrimp was likely from a “shrimp cocktail” purchase at Kroger. The salsa had oil in it?? It was definitely not worth the price increase or the hype as this was my first time.

Stopped in for the first time. The employees were very friendly and helpful. The food was very good and very large portions. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return when I’m in the area!! A+++

Katie and Emilie are always so on point for service and my orders. I really appreciate the experience every time I’m in. The food , as always, is top notch!

This place is superb. I have never had a bad meal here & I’ve had my fair share. The sweet potato & black bean is always my go to, the way they dice the sweet potatoes is 10/10 in my book. The staff are always friendly but Katie is always the standout. She’s so attentive and always has a smile on her face and is warm & welcoming. Please please please start a rewards program!! 🤞🏼

Ever since they opened, Chicano Boy has been one of the best restaurants in downtown Staunton and arguably the best Mexican restaurant in the Shenandoah Valley. I would recommend a particular dish, but every meal I've gotten here has been great. In addition to the food itself, their salsas are fantastic.

And they're also great for people with allergies to gluten and dairy.

Seriously can't recommend this place enough.

Dietary restrictions: My wife has allergies to gluten and dairy, and we try to stop here anytime we're in Staunton. Their food is that good and it works that well with those allergies. If ordering online, you can note allergies and remove things like cheese as necessary, and if in the restaurant, just let them know. We've never had any issues with cross-contamination.

Everytine we have cone here, the staff, the food, the atmosphere have all been excellent!! Good food and grievances keep us coming back!!
