A favorite breakfast spot whenever I visit Staunton. I enjoy the freshly made options and the slow vibe. Despite the small space, extra tables are tucked into corners and even on the staircase landing offering a bit of privacy, if you want a private conversation.I really enjoyed my dirty chai and crustless spinach cheddar quiche. We picked up a few extra high quality groceries on the way out. Definitely take a look.

If, like me, life has left you none-too-fond of crowds, chaos, and hectic businesses, then Cranberry's is your oasis from it all. This is a part cafe, part eatery, part grocery store, that I cherish as a safe space. For those of you looking for an extra quiet, extra spacious, peaceful recluse from it all, take your coffee, smoothie, juice, latte, or meal upstairs. Plenty of seating, plenty of space, and a whole lotta chill. Warm, calming energies permeate the space. The food is chefs kiss. And for those in the know, they host the best events. Enjoy, and please keep cranberrys special.

Went in while I was passing through town and was looking for some gluten free, dairy free, soy free lunch. I stopped in at the Visitor's Center and they recommended Ceanberry's due to my food intokerances. I got the Taj Mahal on a bed of greens with turkey and mango curry, it came with a side of chips. The young lady at the register assured me that all were, GF, DF and Soy Free, I wasn't confident based on her offering me tofu though. I think there was a little soy in something based on how my body reacted. If you're into coffee and like more small sustainable brands, this is the place for you.

The lady at the register has a very strange but unmistakeable attitude that I am privileged to be a paying customer, and an odious inconvenience to her, that it is somehow taking from her. Then she covers up her microaggressions with formal, but unfeeling, polite-isms. This is not the first time I have come away feeling the belittling, dehumanizing affect. She does not do this with everybody, so I can only conclude that her manner, oozing with microaggressions toward me, is because she does not approve of me as a person. Perhaps she mistakes me for some heinous criminal.

I'm visiting my dad and normally he goes to the Cracker Barrel every morning for breakfast but this morning he let me talk him into going to this amazing little health food store and cafe! We ordered their "loaded oatmeal" and a yummy smoothie!! My dad was VERY impressed and said he could eat this every morning!! #veganpower #compassionatecuisine

Really cute, nice little place. Tasty food and good coffee, indoor and outdoor seating. Well stocked boutique grocery store as well. Nice staff.

We bought the vegetarian breakfast burrito and the vegetarian banker’s sandwich and both were amazing. Great local eatery and the service was very friendly and fast.

This place was interesting from the beginning. They have a lot of items for sale including lots of rare vitamins, supplements and protein shakes. But we were here for breakfast and we ordered a breakfast sandwich and breakfast burrito. Both had vegetarian options and ordered a coffee latte with it. The sandwich was perfect. Nothing to complain. But the burrito was even better. This unassuming restaurant would beat any DC breakfast place hands down. The coffee was good as well.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The coffee I ordered was barely warm and had a terrible taste. When I asked them to fix it, they microwaved my cup, which only made the coffee taste worse. What's even more disappointing is the attitude I received when I mentioned the coffee didn't taste good. They didn't offer to make a fresh one or try to resolve the issue. I've tried their coffee before, and while it wasn't great, it was never this bad. This visit was a big letdown.

Lunch menu looked good and service was very good. That said, don't go for the baked goods -- danish and muffins are bland -- white dough, no flavor, and a ridiculous $4 each. Not sure why they offer this. Live & learn.

My name is Kate. I always enjoyed Cranberries. I was friends with the previous owner, Joseph. Years ago, we took photographs of the previous store, and it ended up published online in Fodors magazine. I also took the photograph on this front page here.I came back into town recently and really enjoyed going to the store and having god memories of Joseph. I also like the gluten free options, and ability to get remote work done. The manager, who I believe is named, Kristen; she has black hair and glasses, was incredibly rude and nasty to me last week. Another regular customer witnessed it, and attested to how mean she was.I basically was in the body care section. I thought the little lotions sitting in the front of the packaging, out of the box, were samplers. I tried a little dab of one on my hand.Kristen came up and said, “Those are not samplers.”I was glad she told me, but she was definitely rude in how she spoke. I calmly explained that I didn’t know, and apologized.I thought any polite customer service professional would understand how this was a reasonable mistake considering they were displayed out of the box …way in front of the packaged ones. She then went on, combatively saying, “There are no signs indicating it’s a sampler. You knew what you were doing.”She looked at me haughtily and squinted her eyes. “You know, I should make you pay for that.”This is exactly what she said. I’m sorry, but I am of the impression she just plain didn’t like me as a person, which is why she acted this way. I thought people got over being rude and belittling others like this in middle school. It's beyond unprofessional. I get the feeling she just doesn't have much oversight and can act how she wants. It saddens me that the manager of my friends old restaurant lacks complete graces and just genuinely seems like a mean lady taking advantage of her power.

Great option for breakfast early-ish on a Tuesday morning. Breakfast burrito was tasty and filling before going hiking. Cold brew coffee was fantastic. Service was fine and food arrived quickly. Took a muffin to go for a snack later, which was also tasty.

This is a small, friendly alternative grocery with an area set aside for dining. Good for a quick breakfast. Great coffee!

The Queen City Egg Sandwich was great. It had a good amount of veggies and the multigrain bread seemed fresh. Although I enjoyed my food, my cappuccino was very bad. It was very hot and didn't have much espresso flavor. For that reason, I can only give this business three stars.

I love the vibe of Cranberry's. I've been there a few times: a couple of times for coffee, and today for brunch. That being said, I was a little disappointed with my "normal breakfast" order. Yes, it's not a fancy meal; I knew that going in. But maybe give a bit more than some super-thin slices of bacon and plain eggs (which BTW no way could have been actually two eggs)? Sure, the toast is great (it's toast after all), but no jam to offer? A theme I'm coming across with many of the downtown restaurants along the "main strip" of Beverley (and this case New St.)...a decent meal...at a higher price than it probably should be. ...and the music... I give her credit for trying.
