Great coffee, and the employees are friendly and attentive! However, the lack of any visible menus makes the experience tedious. You can't see what they have at all until you are right at the register. I hate waiting in the very slow moving line, and I hate holding up the line while I peruse the menu.A QR code menu or even a little chalkboard with the specials would do wonders! But for now, I'll avoid the busy hours.

Such a nice place to grab a morning coffee and a baked treat. I’d love to return in the warmer months. They offer abundant outdoor seating. My cappuccino with oat milk was really nice, smooth, well prepared. Alongside a slice of tasty lemon poppyseed cake, I was well supplied. The star of the show was the young women staffing the store that day. So cheerful, friendly, attentive, patient.Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives, Vegetarians and the gluten free can find optionsParking: A large lot in front

I absolutely adore this place with my whole heart. I'm from Pittsburgh PA and I travel down here often. Every time I come down Crucible Coffee Roasters is one of the first places I think about. The coffee is some of the best coffee I've ever had and being from Pittsburgh, we have quite a few good coffee shops in my city. The employees here are extremely friendly and I love just going in and having conversations with them! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone. This is the first place in Virginia that has made me feel at home<3333

This is a great little place. The only reason I put a 4 instead of 5 for atmosphere is it is open and can be loud and not many places to sit. Not conducive for doing work before a meeting or whatever. But it is warm and inviting.

My wife and I live in Australia, which has a great coffee culture. We also roast our own coffee beans at home.We were staying in Staunton with family for a few weeks and discovered Crucible Coffee. We drink flat white in Australia and we're excited to find that the young ladies there knew what it was and how to make it! We were served by Willa who was very friendly and gave great service.Great atmosphere and great place. Far better than any other coffee house we have been to in USA!Thanks Tony and Kate.
