I stopped while on a road trip at the recommendation of a patient after we had discussed the foods of our childhood. My great grandmother was born in Germany and as a child I didn’t realize how much of the food we ate was influenced by her. When I say I smiled with every bit I am not lying, it was like a hug from my Granny. This is true home cooked German food!
