This is our favorite place to eat here in Staunton. The service and food are outstanding. We go so much that they remember us and their faces light up. They want to know how we've been etc. If you want great Mexican food, come here.

The server did not get our order correctly. First my husband asked to put sugar on his Rum runner but she put salt on it we didn't mind and did not said anything. Then she gave him a wrong order for his meal. We asked them 3x and still didn't get it so we just canceled his order. The food was good but the service was not as we expected. They were rude and did not offer any compensation so I don't think we would go back.

I don’t often leave reviews, but I’ve been coming to El Jimador here in Staunton for a while now and I can without a doubt say it’s the best Mexican restaurant in the area! Super friendly staff, prompt service, and every single thing I’ve had on the menu is great, my favorite food is definitely just the regular beef tacos. The quality of the ingredients even in something as “unimportant” as a single beef taco, is unmatched. Great food, great people.

Been to the restaurant 3 times and the food hasn't disappointed me yet. Pretty quiet place if you want to go with a few friends and have fellowship and hear what is being said. Thanks El Jimador foe your hospitality!!
