Welcome to Staunton, GloBowl. The super-friendly staff gave me a helpful tour of the menu. I picked the spicy Kai dish--yum yum! I'm so excited to have an easy to access delicious GF menu.

For me, Globowl hits all the right notes: the food is seasoned well, the portions are good, the ingredients are fresh. My personal favorite dishes are the Tao and the Buddha Bowl, the Green Goddess salad and that incredible green dressing are amazing, and the empanadas are clearly home made with love and delicious. Oh and I love the pollo! I also love that for those who aren't into the vegan/vegetarian thing, you can add chicken or salmon to any meal. I've been visiting Globowl's brick and mortar location in Lexington since it opened in 2020 and I've always been impressed. While their food truck has just opened up and I'm sure they're still hitting their stride, I was impressed and thing it represents the brand well. I noticed the other comment from the reviewer who commented on the empanadas and seasoning and such and I admit I was surprised because I'm pretty picky and I've never had these issues!Edit: I've noticed in looking over reviews that it only seems like Staunton tour guides are putting in negative reviews...then when the owner responds kindly, that they all reduce their star rating. I just thought that was kind of odd/interesting...clearly she must be doing something right to bring out the trolls. Just my two cents.

I have eaten at the Lexington restaurant and it has always been right on… the new food truck is awesome, but I am a loyal customer.This is a new and exciting endeavor for the amazing owner Lauren! I wish her all the love and luck!!! We LOVE Globowl Cafe and now love the mobile Globowl

I had an awesome meal from here! Super salads, dressing, empanadas yum! This was so healthy, fresh and filling! My toddlers loved the chicken skewers and falafel.

I can't say I really enjoyed most of my food. I do hope it gets better with time.Meat Empanada: Good! Crispy, though it was nearing over fried.Vietnamese rolls: fresh ingredients, but pretty small and the rice paper was either not soaked long enough, or was getting dehydrated. What I'm getting at was the rice paper wrapper was getting a little hard.Tao bowl with tofu: I really didn't think it was good. If the rice was fried it didn't taste that way. A flavorless pile of brown rice with a few chunks of kimchi. Tofu also bland. This item needs a lot of work. At first I thought I had the wrong item because it looked so different than the pictures I had online. I would like to have a lot of kimchi in the future.Bombay bowl: I can't say we liked this one either. For whatever reason the curried chickpeas just didn't have a good flavor. I've enjoyed packaged Indian food at the grocery more than this.I'm wondering if I would have had a better experience just getting a salad with nothing fancy on it. The ethnic cuisine was just a big miss to me. We definitely need a place that sells fresh food like this, but it's falling short right now.

I eat at Globowl at least once a week and was happy to hear that they've expanded to Staunton with the food trailer because there are otherwise not a lot of healthy options in Staunton. Food is good and filling. Owner knows all about vegan and GF, and most items on menu can be modified accordingly. Everyone who works there are fun friendly people

Food was just okay - for the price I thought there was nothing memorable about the Baja bowl. It was too soupy, and the chicken skewers were overcooked. The empanadas are too sweet for some reason, and the filling was like cardboard. Everything was undersalted. Falafel tasted great but the size was soooo small for $5. I think the concept of this food truck is great, but the execution leaves much to be desired.

All I can say is WOW! Globowl offers a wide variety of delicious, creative and healthy dishes that are inclusive of all dietary needs. I love that I can go here and find many options that fit my gluten free restrictions. I can't wait to try more menu items, this place rocks!!

Great Food! I have been to their Lexington restaurant many times however this was my first time at their food truck. Food was awesome! One of my favorites are the Empanadas. Fried perfectly and delicious. Not sure which one is better, mushrooms or traditional so I get both! Great job!

Heading north on Interstate 81, we were delighted to find the best Vegan/vegetarian restaurant only about 2 miles off route in beautiful Lexington. Delicious food served fresh and fast by a kind and friendly staff. Definitely recommend, 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
