Our school bus stopped here on our way to DC. Hometown Grill was so sweet and accommodating. The owner and staff was awesome and friendly. Plus the food was DELICIOUS 😋10/10 Highly recommend!! Thank y'all so much!!
if you want to sit and freeze while trying to dine it is a perfect space. I asked about turning the air to be more comfortable, I was told if we wanted to pay the electric bill, we could. well I thought the customers paying their bills did pay the electric. so with the food it is great other than that rate a 1.
Just traveling through, can’t beat the price for what you get $13 Buffett.

Great stop for a bite to eat off 81. We always seek out non-chain restaurants when we travel and this one is a winner.
Tons of options on the menu, or a generous buffet if you’re indecisive.
When Cracker Barrel tells you there’s a 90 minute wait, get in the car and go here!!

Excellent customer service, food, ambiance, very clean, sanatized, well-kept uniforms, attitude was superb. Very caring and humble waitress (Rebecca S.), caring person and taking care of us very well. The food was well cooked and presented at the buffet. We enjoyed Sunday Brunch Breakfast choices and lunch items at the same time. Lavish salad and fresh cutt fruit bar were excellent with many healthy choices. Breakfast was awesome ? with many choices and unbelievable. We were celebrating our last meal for our anniversary and it was a good meal to remember it by. The manager at the cash register was nice and sweet also. Hats down to the cooks and management also, good team work.
Vegetarian options: Many
Parking: Open parking lot
Kid-friendliness: Yes, many dishes and ice cream ? cones end the meal

Stopped in for the first time while traveling through the area on I-81. Wanted something different then the regular chain restaurants. Hometown is a locally owned and operated,
the owner was there working the front register the night we ate there. My wife and I both got the seafood buffet. Great selection of seafood, steak and fried chicken. Hushpuppies were very good. Huge selection of vegetables and sides. Salad bar had a great selection and everything was fresh and well prepared. Deserts were good as well. The menu was very reasonable. Our waitress was very nice and kept our drinks full. Will stop in again on the next trip.
Looks like an old Shoneys. These folks do it better. Friday night seafood and sirloin Buffett. Food has flavor!!. The staff keeps the buffet fresh and clean. Waitstaff is always pleasant. So many places don’t even try. These people try and succeed. I literally thanked them for doing it all so well before I left.

The pinnacle of a local hometown diner feel! Staff were incredibly nice and prompt, and the buffet was wonderful! Would not recommend the baked chicken, but the fried chicken more than makes up for it with fall-off-the-bone juicy goodness! And the best part? The buffet is only $10 for as many trips as you want! If you want some home style country cooking, I would be hard pressed to make a better recommendation!

Great family owned restaurant with extremely reasonable prices, friendly service and a great menu. We had a several different dishes and all were delicious and very well priced. We didn’t even try the buffet, but it looked really good as well. I wish we could have had more chances to eat here, but sadly our vacation is coming to an end. I highly recommend.
