On November 5 I took a group of 50 high-school students to see a theatrical performance in Staunton. This is a fairly regular field trip we take every fall, and it's always a great time for the kids. I typically make reservations at an area restaurant for lunch after the show, but this was the first year we dined at Kathy's. The food was delicious, and the servers were so courteous and pleasant--not to mention fast and efficient. My special compliments to the restaurant manager Tyler, who was attentive to every single detail and assured that our visit was a thoroughly enjoyable one. A heartfelt thank you to all!

The food here is so phenomenal nothing else matters, but I do wish they'd redecorate the back end of the restaurant. The front end has this 50s diner thing going on that I love but you go in the back and it's like your great grandparents house but with mannequins on thrones and a bricked over fireplace. And they could really use some new ceiling tiles. But seriously the mannequins could literally come to life and start screaming at me during my meal and I'd still recommend this place because the food is THAT good.

When we went for breakfast the place was packed which is normal, we had to wait for just a few min for a table, we didn't mind and it was so worth the wait. Our server was extremely busy with an abundance of tables a few with 8 or 10 ppl or more and she was still on her A game. The food was absolutely amazing and even that description seems inadequate. We will definitely be back again.....and again.

Stopped here on our way to Tennessee. Wonderful in every way. I could tell it was a local favorite. Everyone had smiles even though they were very busy and food was delicious!! Highly recommend!!
