The custard here is too expensive. The people do not know how to apply Jimmy's to a cone properly. I've never had the food here just the ice cream. Portion sizes vary depending on who serves you.
We went here for the first time and it won't be our last. We got the banana splits (highly recommended) and the Italian ice. It was all very delicious. I see how it's been around since 1943. The staff were very nice and helpful. The decor inside was very nostalgic too. We are looking forward to being back in the area to visit here again.
Pretty disappointed. Went in with my mother ordered lunch and her drink tasted like soda water, requested another or different drink, and the lady at the window told me I would have to wait awhile. We were there over a half an hour, noone acknowledged us or brought a drink. Went back to the window and was completely ignored. Frustrated, we left and sadly will not return.
