We had a very good meal at Latin Soul Restaurant. Dog friendly in the covered outdoor seating! Always a big plus. We tried three of the menu items on this trip. The ceviche, soupa de res, and baleadas. All were tasty. The ceviche could use a couple more chips on the side. The ones that come with it get soggy, but it's still damn good. My food friend had the soup and enjoyed it. Large chunks of Veg and meat cooked well. The baleadas were great! It was my first and definitely not my last. You should try one if you're out for brunch. The place had plenty of seating. A nice-looking little bar and covered outdoor seating. It was clean with a super friendly waitress who was on point with her service and recommendations. If you are in the area looking to grab a tasty bite, check Latin Soul out!

I went for lunch with a friend today. We ordered the same thing, and hers came but mine never did. I drained my water and no refills came around.I wish I could say this never happened before, but it has. I did eat there once, and actually got the food, and it and the service were good. So, the food is good, IF you can get it.

We were on a road trip that took us through Staunton. My wife stumbled across Latin Soul on Google, and man, we were happy she did. Great little place with out of this world food and great service. My only complaint is that it's three hours from Greensboro!

The food was pretty good. The fruit mix bowl didn't seem to have fresh fruits but everything else was on point. I went with my support animal, KitKat. She was happy with everything, she is easy to please...

I had the soup and salad. The soup was delicious and salad was a salad. The wait staff was kind and the environment was relaxed.

Parking: Could use some more lights in the area.

Best food in Staunton of this type. PLUS their kitchen offers the best breakfasts. Can choose traditional "American" fare ( avocado egg Benedict, perfectly poached and plated, their grits are amazing) or more Latin fare (chorizo breakfast burrito, tons of chorizo and pork, breakfast potatoes, beautiful fruit). You can have any dish on menu really.
Nice patio in good weather and labor day weekend they had a salsa event. Lessons and dancing. Didn't go, but we saw many couple on the patio dancing! Hidden gem ssshhh! ?

Beautiful Sunday morning breakfast. Eggs cooked perfectly and the waffle was just right. Only two servers for this surprisingly GIANT restaurant but the service was still great. Husband and I had coffee, waffles, eggs, bacon, I had hash browns & he had grits we walked outta there at just around $15 bucks a person before tax.
