Having watched this establishment move through into different iterations, this one seems to be the most comfortable modern one. I’m sure that most folks from around here will agree that nothing would be the same as Tuesday night at Marinos in the back room, cigarette smoke wafting through the crowded space with the tapping of feet to wonderful tunes from guitars, banjos and the occasional tambourine. But it is the 21st century, and the people serving food are very nice and the food is good. It is unfortunately much pricier than it used to be when it was made behind the countertop. No question I would go there again.

First time tonight and it did not disappoint. I had the bourbon wings with sweet potato fries and my dad had the spaghetti! 10/10. The server was very attentive and kind and the musicians were playing Irish pub music which was absolutely fantastic and really helped the vibe!! It was a little hot inside but that’s because the place was packed!!! Do not skip this place!

First time eating here a great atmosphere, a hidden jewel in downtown Staunton. Service was fantastic, food was awesome, and when you come in be sure to ask for Sasha she is a darling. I definitely recommend

We ordered our food and the service was good and food was delivered quickly. However the eggs were severely under cooked. And I love runny eggs but this was running egg whites. Not OK

Felicia Sheets, owner of Marino's Lunch...I can't say enough! Her food is home cooked and always delicious! We have been lucky enough to partner with her at The Club at Ironwood, she has been providing the catering for our events and everything has been delicious, the presentation is on another level and everyone shows up when they know when FeFe is cooking!
Aside from her delicious cooking skills, her professionalism and dedication is top notch. She is also one of the most thoughtful, caring and beautiful souls you would be lucky to know. Her attitude and love transcends to her food and it's most definitely an experience you must have.

Stopped in as we were driving south on 81. Totally worth the stop. Food was fresh and nicely prepared. Meat on the French dip was quality. The Aaron sandwich was huge! Side salad was a good size for a small salad. Serving staff were kind and attentive.
Nice place. We were there and they were playing live music, it's a great atmosphere in the restaurant.

Felicia not only offers exceptional catering—she also runs a fantastic and welcoming restaurant in Staunton. Marino’s Lunch is known for its delicious blue plate specials and vibrant live music 2-3 nights a week. Every dish is homemade from cherished family recipes, and you can taste the love and care in every bite.
Felicia is a beautiful person, inside and out. She treats everyone like family and always greets you with a warm smile, whether you’re dining in, planning an event, or just seeing her around town.
We recently had the pleasure of having Felicia cater our daughter’s wedding, and everything was perfect. The food was incredible, the displays were beautiful, and every detail was thoughtfully personalized—even down to hand-lettered tags on the cookies for our daughter and son-in-law.
