My husband just got 10 of the best crab cakes ever! They are loaded with crab meat. Not too spicy, just right and the right price. Their shrimp is also very good! Go there you definitely won’t be disappointed. The owners are great as well.

If you're buying seafood in Staunton or the surrounding area you better be going to Maurice's. The best shrimp, salmon, crab around. They only sell the best at prices that aren't that different from grocery stores.

Maurice's is an awesome little shop. So much character, and the atmosphere and friendliness are exemplar of the small historic city of Staunton. I've been in a few times for some live oysters (bought my first ever there, and I'm hooked) and you can easily tell that they are fresh right out of the sea. He even threw in a couple extra to my dozen. Needed an oyster knife and they had some of those too. If you don't need seafood, they also have country hams, wine, cold sandwiches and sides. 100% recommend stopping by.
