Nice spot to pick up some organic cheese and fantastic greens

I wasn’t a customer of this business, and never will be now. I was outside this business recently and witnessed something really upsetting. A young woman parked in the spot after hours (they were clearly closed) for just a couple of minutes to pick up a pizza from the shop next door. The male business owner came out and began yelling at her for it. She apologized several times and calmly tried to explain she didn’t realize it would be a problem since the business was closed, but he continued to be rude toward her. It was genuinely upsetting to watch, the woman looked visibly shaken. What made it even more unacceptable was that his wife(i’m assuming) stood silently nearby. I understand the importance of parking rules during business hours, but this was not during business hours — and there was absolutely no need to treat someone with such hostility over something so minor. It was disappointing and unsettling to witness a local business treat people in the community this way, and if i’m not mistaken It also looked she was wearing scrubs of some sort, so to treat someone like that who is in the medical field makes it even worse.

The products here are health oriented and the owner is very friendly. There is also a lot of organic and local produce. I recommend everyone to come here for their local shopping needs and the food is very delicious as well. They also have freshly roasted coffee.

Great, friendly service! Nice place to get a snack, coffee or a meal. Their fresh baked goods are fantastic.

Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the Sat. brunch is really good. The coffee is pricey though.

Not much produce. Food bar was old, food wasn't appetizing. Not as much choice for vegan.

Fantastic outfit, both for groceries and prepared foods. Lots of local and organic options. If you feel so inclined, add a little to your total for their “pending board,” which is contributions to feeding the homeless and hungry in Staunton. Great folks, great store.

A wonderful place with wonderfully kind people. The food is local, fresh, delicious! The owner, John, is very kind. And the garden out back is beautiful and a lovely place to read and enjoy their lunch deals!
