Was looking for the Gluten Free baked goods I read about in other reviews. Alas, the bakery part is no longer in business. But as I was looking up other options in the parking lot, one of the employees came out to tell me of another Staunton business (Whpp’d) that did have GF items. They went out their way to help when they weren’t getting any business from me. Good human decency always translates to good customer service. The restaurant looked super cute and had a great outdoor setting area. If I’m ever driving through again and looking for an actual meal, I will be trying this place out.
Enjoyed my first meal at Table 44. The Bloody Mary was delicious. I also had the goat cheese salad and flourless torte. Everything was delicious. Our waitress was great. Eating area and restrooms were clean. Only complaint would be the flies bothering us the whole time we were eating (inside).
I ordered the crab cake sandwich. Heavenly! I will definitely be back. Excellent service and even better food. Yum!
We were in town for one night, and needed a restaurant that was dog friendly. This is one of the few that is. We had to wait about 45 minutes, but it was well worth it. The service was spot on, the food was delicious. Our dog got to try ice cream, and a home made biscuit. Loved sitting outside, the shrimp and grits were awesome and so was the hamburger. The salmon portion is on the smaller side.
Love the burgers love the bloody Mary’s love it all, Table 44 never disappoints! This time I had the coke a cola short ribs….OMG! Delicious
Try the Lee's burger. One of my top 3 all-time best burgers that I've tried. Ever. Bravo. Service was great as well. Our waitress was attentive but not overly so to the point of annoying.
Amazing restaurant in an amazing down, would eat here every day of the week if I could! Not to mention delicious drinks at the bar!
I wish I had given this place a try sooner!!!! I thought it was strictly desserts but boy was I wrong! Their food was INCREDIBLE!!!!
In terms of small town American restaurants, of which there are many, this one stands out as one of the best places I've ever eaten at. I had the bacon bleu burger and it was one of the most stunning meals I've ever had. Service was a little slow and the place was packed but it was well worth it.
Great service, perfect size lunch, very eclectic atmosphere. This is one satisfied foodie?

Amazing! Waited in line Sunday morning for brunch. So worth the wait - once they open for the day, they get everyone seated and taken care of efficiently. Biscuits and gravy were delicious and the portion was huge! Everything coming out of the kitchen looked wonderful.
Had a fantastic Saturday brunch/breakfast in a lively and totally professional yet relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to my next meal there.
We had lunch there for the first time, yesterday Friday, April 8, 2022!It was a wonderful experience! All the staff were friendly and very helpful! Our waitress Micah, she was very helpful, very sweet and did a great job!We started out with a Blueberry margarita and a beer! ?We both had the Maryland Crabcake sandwich and potato salad! It was excellent! Topped it off with trying the cheesecake and key lime pie, beautiful presentation and so yummy!!We will be returning!!
Stopped for lunch on a whim. We both opted for burgers and fries, and they were exceptional - juicy, and cooked on the pink side of medium, as requested. Toppings were unusual, but paired very well with the meat. I had a potato cake with goat cheese & bacon, and my wife had sauteed kale with cheese & bacon. The ketchup with the fries was spiced with Old Bay Seasoning, which gave it a kick. They had an extensive cocktail menu, which looked interesting, although we didn't partake, and if we weren't full to bursting, their desserts looked good too. We'll be back to try their shrimp and grits, or their braised short-ribs.
I had the brisket cooked in Coca-Cola served with potato-scallion pancakes and kale. The three items on the plate, plus just the right amount of braising sauce complemented each other perfectly! My husband had a burger, which he said was much better than the burger he had the night before at Remedy Burger, also in Staunton. For food and service i would give Table 44 five stars, but if i did that, what could i possibly give a Michelin 3-star restaurant?
