It's hard to call this place a legitimate brewery and the only one in my travels that I did not order a beer at an event they had. One can drive by regularly and see no patrons there, so I believe I'm not the only one who has these negative beliefs. I truly believe they make their beer from a syrup. Unfortunately, the only decent brewery in Staunton is still Red Beard's and a new one, Pro Re Nada, has mixed reviews. To find an exceptional brewery, one must travel over the mountain to Afton and Blue Mountain Brewery.
Always amazing. I thought they were closed on Saturday because the open times on Google maps were incorrect, they are open 2-9pm Saturdays.
Best Brewery in Staunton. The beer is really good, and it's a nice and airy welcoming place. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. Audrey is probably the nicest tap room bartender/manager I've met, and I've been to breweries all over the country. Very friendly and welcoming environment. They also have music every week open mic on Wednesday nights at 7 pm. They even do music outside on the patio(if weather permits). If you enjoy listening to live local music from talented musicians, it is definitely worth a stop in!!
Stopped in and enjoyed the atmosphere and beer. Service was good and people friendly. Reasonably priced.
Nice place to take a good beer with friends
Great place! They really know so much and help you find something you like from their vast selection. More variety than any other place I have been and all of them are amazing. Definitely drop by and try a few.
Get the jackalope. You won't be disappointed.
Nice setting, friendly service, and great selection of beers. Definitely will be back when in the area.
This was our first visit, and we'll be back! There was a great variety of beer; of which, we sampled 10 by purchasing three flights plus one. There was no food to mention at 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday, but it's possible they may have food trucks closer to meal time. Still, highly recommend!
I visited Queen City Brewing last summer with my then future son-in-law in our quest to find a location for the Welcome Party for his wedding to our daughter. Queen City Brewing was just a little out of the way, but we are so glad we stopped by. They are Staunton's oldest brewery and have a wide range of offerings, including fruit beers that are more like ciders, a red and a white sangria, and sooo many beers, from IPAs to my personal favorite stouts. The wedding was past weekend, and our experience hosting the Welcome Party at Queen City Brewing was fantastic. Their bartenders are well-informed, and our guests enjoyed learning about their different brews. You are welcome to bring in food, as we did, and when the party was still going strong at their usual closing hour, they graciously remained open another hour. Great beer and great people! Stop in to experience their hospitality!
