Over priced Bahn Mi had a single slice of brisket as thin as my debit card. You get $15 cucumber sandwich, the "pickles" were just cucumber slices. The bread was stale. Worst of all the Bahn mi had no flavor. I have eaten Vietnamese food across the country and this was one the worst places I've been to in terms of value. The place was clean and the staff were nice but you can't eat that.

Nice atmosphere, but the pho is lacking something. It's just not quite right.

The pho never disapoints! Awesome place to grab some takeout and they make fabulous summer rolls too

Located on a lovely street. The staff was friendly. They knew what the vegan options were. The food was delicious, healthy, and quick to come to the table. The drinks we ordered were refreshing. My toddler had trouble eating his food even though it was labeled as an option for children because it was long noodles. He's still getting the hang of utensils. Check out the stained glass windows above the entrance. They're pretty, especially when viewed from inside. One of the toilets didn't look clean.

It’s good for Staunton. They’re trying. The broth is under-flavored and mild which might be a good introduction to pho for the neophyte. It tastes like white people read a recipe for pho in Southern Living magazine and built a restaurant around it. The service is uncoordinated and adequate. Maybe this is what all appropriated food tastes like to the initiated.

Amazing pho. The broth here tastes homemade and is more subtle and rich compared to most pho places. After eating it, I was about to ask the employees about the broth but then I saw this frame description which explained the broth and confirmed what I tasted!

Meh. Rice noodle plate was good pho broth was odd. Lots of cinnamon flavor not much beef bone flavor and the noodles were soggy. I've had a lot pho in a lot of contexts and this was bottom of the list. Nice setting and maybe they were having an off day but wanted to be hones

Great pho and summer rolls, HOWEVER, their new boba tea is not the best. Ive gotten it about 4 times, and the 3/4 times I got it, the tapioca pearls were very overcooked and way too soft. And the actual tea is either a hit or miss; depending on who makes it. But this is a newer item on their menu, so I’ll let it slide. But I don’t think it’s worth $5.50.

Laughing Bird is drive-an-hour-outta-your-way good. The broth has complex, deep flavor and wraps sumptuously around the highest quality pho meat I’ve ever had (soo tender!).

"Americanized" Bahn mi sandwiches that resemble toasted Cuban sandwiches more than those popular in Vietnam. No Asian beers. No need to return.
