At first I was skeptical of the reviews on the site, so I decided to give it a try… I payed $60 for an 8” “custom” cake. They said they would print out the picture and put it on (which looked okay), but the entire design was mediocre and the cake was not good at all. It was a simple vanilla cake, and it just tasted dry and old. Not to be rude with the feedback, but hopefully this bakery can do better in the future, since it’s conveniently located in the area.

My daughters and I stumbled upon this bakery one afternoon when we had a sweet tooth. We definitely found the right spot! We sampled the majority of the menu and yum! We tried chocolate chip, lemon and sugar cookies. Lemon was the hands down winner in our house. The other 2 had a drier crumb and were a crispy/crumbly cookie whereas the lemon was very gooey and moist. All 3 were good, just different textures. We tried 13 cupcakes and they were all very very good. Our only critique is the frosting is a little sweet especially considering the cakes pack a sweet flavorful punch. Lemon bar, blueberry bar and brownie were fantastic! We will be back. ?

Ordered a cake for a birthday and we're told they closed at 4. We got a call from a guy at 11:55 to tell us that they were closing at noon due to the holiday so we rushed there and I complained about the box was not big enough,. When we got home the cake had shifted and fell apart. The owner was nice and called me back asap. Unfortunately we had to buy another cake at a grocery store. We have purchased cakes from them before with no issues.

Terrible service!!!! My daughter out of state has been attempting to order a cake for her sisters (who lives here) bridal shower. Order on website as website suggested- immediately heard back & to email ideas and they would be in touch in 3 days. 7 days later still no response. Reached out yet again- they state oh yeah we can do the cake and they will call the next day......now another week has past and still no response. This is not how you treat customers!!!!!!

I was pretty excited to finally check out this local bakery and dropped in. I ordered 2 different cupcakes and both were very dry, despite one being a Boston Cream. I could feel the Crisco in the icing on my palate and there was really no flavor, just overwhelming sweetness. The lemon bar crust was great but the actual bar itself was abnormally yellow and had a very strong egg flavor. The macarons were cute but I was turned off by the size. The macarons here are a mere fraction of the size of macarons I have seen literally everywhere, France included, yet command the typical $2.75 each.

I placed an order at 1 for delivery at 4, which the expected delivery time was 4-4:20. It wasn't until 4:30, I decided to call regarding the delivery and the grub hub service member said the delivery would be at 4:58. At that point, I was incredibly frustrated and asked to cancel and if I could get a refund. I wish there were better time management and communication. I did not anticipate on waiting a whole 58 minutes for an order I placed earlier in the day. Another frustrating part is that the cupcake place was a 6 min drive from where I was (though I had no transportation that day which I why I wanted it delivered). While I did not get to try the cupcakes, I feel that communication to customers is essential. Maybe going to the shop in person is a much better experience than GrubHub handling your order.
Such a great bakery and the people that work here are very kind, professional, and helpful. They have the best cookies and cakes. If you haven't visited this awesome bakery I highly recommend them.

Went to an event with a cake designed by Sweet Nana’s cakes. I thought the cake was okay, until I heard the price was 150$. I would have guessed the cake was around 50$. The person who purchased the cake showed me the picture she presented to Sweet Nana’s Cakes and I compared it to the result. It presented as a streaky mess, haphazard writing, and unfinished icing. I was saddened to hear how much they spent and how disappointed they were. Nothing was said, and I felt the need to give my honest review for future buyers. With all due respect, I am not a baker/decorator. It was the price of the average cake that made me decide to give my opinion. Thank you for giving your best service. I hope if I ever buy from Sweet Nana’s Cakes that my experience will be entirely different. Thank you.

Snowflake cookie box was great! Ordered it for a staff party & everyone enjoyed them. They were very fresh and ready when promised. I would order again.

The deserts are delicious but the owner is very over worked. Staff does not seem to coordinate with one another. I called in an order 2 months ahead of time order was lost, same order was lost when placed in person. Spoke to the owner who proceeded to tell the person I was with when said order was not ready and couldn’t be found a second time I was rude. I never cussed or raised my voice in any way. I politely said the order was placed twice and lost twice and it was made way in advance. Owner did not charge for order other than what was put down as a deposit in cash. After this experience I will not be returning. This was in no way ok and in no way what the owner said to my family member ok. Stop over booking yourself. Please teach your staff to communicate with one another.
