We were visiting Staunton for a few days, and ate in a number of local restaurants. All were good, but the lunch at The Green Room on our last day was by far the best. The ambiance is wine bar, but in a cool space with a great selection of well priced drinks. The service was friendly and attentive, just as you'd hope. The food is absolutely delicious, with a well thought out menu, and very well executed Mediterranean style dishes. Great hummus, really superb salmon toast, and perfectly made sandwiches. The tots with black garlic mayo were fantastic. If you're looking for simple but imaginative and perfectly executed dishes which are great value for your money, you will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

A very chic and simple place to pop in for a snack, drink, or a meal. We love coming here before heading to dinner downtown. My personal favorite drink is called the Moped. The cheese boards are also super good and fully customizable. I've only came in the evening and you can usually find a spot to sit. The staff is super helpful in answering questions and friendly when coming and going.

The drinks were phenomenal! The service? Meh. My friend and I came in and we were not acknowledged for at least 10 minutes sitting at the bar. We almost walked out. Finally a young lady helped us and she was kind but it was a terrible first impression. But again drinks were good.
Great spot to get a good beer, glass of wine or their ‘not quite cocktails’. Atmosphere is laid back and modern. Food was very good, esp the green room tots.

Fun atmosphere, very chill and a great place to hangout, have a bite to eat, and drink a beer or have a glass of wine. They have a great variety of beers and wines and also a good selection of sandwiches, appetizers, and cheese/meat boards. The staff are very nice. Will definitely be back. We shared the loaded tots which were absolutely delicious and a ham and butter baguette sandwich which was divine!

What started out as a fun spot to check in now and then when we were in town has become a favorite regular hangout in town, whether for trivia Wednesdays or any other day.
