Ubon never disappoints ❤️ This is place is one of my favorite restaurants in Staunton and I recommend it to people all the time. The food is absolutely delicious and Ubon, the owner/chef and her husband are so nice. They make my favorite pad thai, I am typically a noodle person but their rice items are good too! We went today for the Thanksgiving Buffet since we celebrated with family on Sunday and it was the BEST turkey I have ever had. Seriously, I will come back every year for as long as I am able so I can keep eating that turkey. I have also recently discovered I am allergic to gluten and this place is very safe to eat at. She said that she makes sure to have as much variety as possible for gluten free customers because they visit just for that reason. Eating here feels like eating at your friend’s family’s house :)

Me and my best friend found this place from Google when looking up places for lunch. When entering, we were able to ring the bell to get seated at our table. The man who sat us and waited on our table was extremely nice! (He encouraged to squeeze the chicken the next time to let them know that we arrived 😂) I ordered the Thai tea, which was the best Thai tea I have ever had!!! It was very sweet and rich and cold. For our appetizer, we got the Thai dumplings. These came 4 per order. The dumplings were soft and the sauce was very flavorful. For our meal, we split the crispy duck. The food came out quickly. The duck was indeed crispy, even when covered in a delicious sauce. There was broccoli, bell peppers, carrots, and onions along with the duck in the sauce. White rice was served on the side. This was enough food for my best friend and I to split and still feel full after. However, I did end up ordering the mango sticky rice for dessert. Let me tell you, I ate the first bite and had to close my eyes to savor it. It was warm and fresh and sweet. Every bite of food from Ubon was perfect. The atmosphere was so sweet and cozy. The staff were also sweet and welcoming. We will be coming back!!!

This place looks so cool. We came for dinner and had a few appetizers before our meal all were super fresh and tasty.

We came at night but I bet with the windows this place has its really pretty in the sunlight also.

Service was prompt and attentive. The Song Ha beer is light and refreshing perfect with my meal.

The mango sticky rice is a perfect cap to a great meal. We will be back!

What a wonderful experience! It's established on a large lot in a residential section of town, functions out of a beautiful large home with multiple "OPEN" signs so you're invited to actually walk up, and includes family photos and collections decorating the interior--I found it all very charming. The food is delicious! Tasted clean, homemade with a winning Thai sauce. Very friendly people--literally, they were inviting you to their home to dine, stay the night, and share their family history and stories.

A friend and I ate at this restaurant today and enjoyed everything they had to offer. Their Thai tea wasn’t overly sweet, and our host was welcoming and helpful. The food was fresh and everything tasted great! I would definitely come again!

Parking: There is a little side parking area for customers, but a bunch of free street parking areas as well. The streets around the restaurant are on a hill, so I would be mindful of that.

Came here as a wandering keydet once upon a weekend permit, I guess they had just closed down lunch, and I walked up and peeked in the window, then walked back down the sidewalk toward the car.

The kind lady and her husband hollered at me to come back and ended up serving me and my date the most amazing Pad Thai. Good to see they're still running strong.

My husband and I both totally enjoyed the food at this unique Thai restaurant. I had Pad Thai and it was the best Pad Thai we have ever had. The service was excellent. The setting is a bit cluttered, but if you can look past that- the food is outstanding.

This restaurant had quite the critics coming into the establishment. I walked in with a group of hangry, frustrated folks, partially upset at the difficulty of finding the restaurant. Skeptics worried about the legitimacy of the eatery due to its smaller size and aesthetic. However after sitting down and receiving our appetizers. Slowly the harsh critics began to hush, and the jovial foodies began to appear. But that was only the start. One by one our entrees began to come out, we couldn’t help but to dig into each other’s plates. The food was immaculate, the flavor each dish had was so deep our taste buds could do nothing but bow. Surely you must be thinking, “he’s exaggerating” but trust me this is no hyperbole. There was not a scrap left, on any of our plates and we literally ordered more specifically to bring home. It was more than amazing it was spectacular.

Parking: They have a parking lot behind the restaurant, which Google maps doesn’t bring you directly too but there’s instructions in front of the restaurant and Inn. My only difficulty finding the restaurant was confusing the restaurant for the inn. But they are right next to each other.
