On our first visit to a Waffle House Restaurant, I ordered the Texas patty melt with hash fries for lunch. The burger reminded me of one that I used to order at Friendly's Restaurant before they closed in Syracuse, New York. It was enjoyable, and the crispy hash fries tasted good with a little salt and ketchup. My wife ordered a bowl of chili which she said was just the kind she liked. The place was crowded, but the wait staff were attentive and efficient.
Wonderful atmosphere, staff was fast friendly and the food was perfectly cooked. Literally the perfect experience for my visit with my wife. Seemed to be well managed with full tables and people waiting due to being so busy!
This place is honestly great. Clean floors and tables, sweet waitress, decently fast service. It's got local breakfast spot vibes and big chain prices, can't complain at all.
