I ordered the All-American meal so I could taste most of what the restaurant offered, as it was my first time visiting a Waffle House. The food was good overall: well- cooked with simple preparation as expected. I ordered the blueberry waffle instead of the plain one and was disappointed to find that there were no blueberries, but rather a blue- colored blueberry- flavored additive. It tasted OK, but wasn't what I was expecting. The menus don't give descriptions, so...
Waitress wasn't very good. Had to remind her to bring the waffle I ordered, and still never brought it. Never came to check on us and see of we needed anything after getting the food. Table beside us got 2 waffles, still never received mine. Had to have it removed from bill.
What can I say? There’s no experience in America like the Waffle House. This establishment, just like every single one in America maintains the highest standards that empower the franchise to be one of the most consistent ones in the country. Our server was very attentive, friendly, and we couldn’t be happier with our food.
