Usually we love this place a a quick drop in to grab a yummy bite to eat and either pick up our quarterly wine club bottles and do a tasting or buy some additional... today we're were greeted by a very nice new girl who was new (1st day).
We asked if we could take the tasting flight to a table rather than tie up the bar, then things went south. The other lady behind the bar took over and said we would have to wait for a tasting (only one other couple were there and had walked in at the same time)....And when we said that was ok, and tried to order food, we were informed we couldnt eat food at the tasting bar and should wait to make our food order. Maybe I'm hangry, starved and in need of a good wine but at that point something snapped and we just left. Hoping it'll go back to normal next time we visit (will update review then). Feeling rejected.

Love everything about Valerie Hill. the wine, the scenic setting, the owners Collen and Mike, the manager affable Josh, the assistants Amanda et al., the musical entertainers, especially Robbie Limon.
We were passing through the area and stopped by Saturday. We ordered order of their dry red and pizza which both were fantastic. There are several seating options available from inside, patio, lawn and covered tent. Some nice yard to sit and ejnoy the sunset.
Great wine and a relaxing place to be and enjoy the surroundings.

I bought family from out of town and out of state to this winery and the manger made it feel so welcoming. We enjoyed all the wine wine here and there is something here for everyone. 10/10 worth going!

Nice selections of wines and charcuterie/cheese boards, with music and “home sweet home” atmosphere!
Beautiful place, staff friendly, Great place if you like wine and a little bit of histroy, definitely should be a stop if you're in the area.
