I called and talked to a gentleman there I believe he was the owner and he told me to email them what it was I needed. I did so, but when I called to see when my cake would be ready, he told me they never got the email. Recently, we ordered a cake on 15 January And we were to pick the cake up on Saturday the 24th. We confirm this cake on the 21st and they said everything was OK They called us on Friday the 23rd saying that they had to cancel our order This is so unprofessional and they have put us in a bind because now we don’t have a cake to bring to the party tomorrow. This owner seems to have a serious attitude problem and is very unprofessional

Was in a bind and way behind over the Christmas celebration with a wife who is gluten sensitive and has a birthday on Christmas Eve. Did an order in the AM and drove over to check out the place and glad I did as they were super busy and usually get orders weeks in advance. Chef Dennis did some magic and delivered an amazing teal colored (her favorite color) cake with yellow butter cake and chocolate butter icing. Definitely was a huge hit, and will get in front of this for my next order.

Solid praise for Chantal's Bakery and their delightful baked goods. Needed a diabetic cake and cupcakes for the holiday. Perfectly baked and beautifully decorated chocolate/yellow cake with cupcakes to match. At 7:00 PM the night before, Chef Dennis said he had 100 orders to fill for the big day. You would NEVER know he had that many cakes to make. The taste and presentation of our baked goods seemed like they were made just for our family. Hats off and highest compliments to Chef Dennis and his team! We'll be BACK to Chantal's Bakery!

Chantel's Bakery, under the expertise of Chef Dennis, was chosen to create a special cake for this milestone--and what an extraordinary cake it was! Chantel's creation became the highlight of the day, stealing the spotlight among all the festivities. We needed a sugar-free cake, and my mother requested a strawberry shortcake with purple and yellow accents, her favorite colors. When I saw the cake and its exquisite packaging, I was blown away. The presentation was fit for a queen, with a see-through box that showcased the cake beautifully. Not only was it visually stunning, but it was also absolutely delicious. The cake was moist, with a wonderful texture and no unpleasant aftertaste, which is often a challenge with sugar-free baked goods. Chef Dennis and Brenda worked closely with me to ensure everything was perfect, providing exceptional customer service. Delivered when promised! I called from upstate New York to have a cake delivered to my mom in Virginia for her 90th birthday. She was ready to give up once she reached 90 until we decided to take her to Disneyworld this winter and now has a new lease on life :) When I called Chantel's bakery, first they answered the phone after hours, who does that these days!! The owner was so nice and even though Disney wasn't a theme they normally create, he assured me that he would create something special. HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The cake was absolutely beautiful, even more so than I expected. My family in Virginia said it was delicious and brought a big smile to my moms face and made her day, I cant thank them enough for going the extra mile.

I went to this bakery 3 years ago and had a great experience.. I decided to go to them again… well boy was I wrong!
The day before the cake was supposed to be given they cancelled on me after numerous phone calls and changes to my cake. Totally unprofessional and would not recommend this place. I try to support black owned business but this won't be one. The issue started with my ORIGINAL cake design. The owner said he could not do the cake due to risking a fine of $10,000. I completely understood and sent him two other options. I thought we moved forward. Today I got a call about the old cake design and I explained that in the email I sent two new designs to get inspo from. These were single layered cakes. After that 20 minute call I got home from work and told myself to call again and confirm the flavoring. Would it shock you that the owner told me I didn’t choose my flavoring as I am sitting here reading the confirmation order and description of what I wanted including the flavoring. I told him this was becoming a bad experience and then he cancelled my cake…. Instead of owning up to the lack of communication and misunderstanding he canceled my cake less than 24 hours before I was supposed to pick it up.
Last minute cake!! I wouldn’t have been able to give my best friend the cake she wanted if it wasn’t for them!!! I placed my order day of and received it the same day! Other than their amazing service the cake tasted amazing!!

They have so many options for anyone that has an allergy or sensitivity as well - and you can't even tell ... thats how good they were!

We ate at JW's Fish and Biscuit, and it was FANTASTIC. My fried whole red snapper was crisp and flavorful. My husband had the shrimp & cheese grits. The grandsons had wings and waffles. Every bite was terrific, made to order and piping hot. All our sides were delicious too. What's in those biscuits? Lordy, they are tasty!! The guys greeting and cooking for us were so friendly and helpful, answering questions and checking to make sure everything was just as we'd hoped. We don't make it down this way often, but it's well worth a detour if we're anywhere nearby.
