Fun place for all ages, lots of outdoor seating if the weather is good, arcade area, and lots of gluten free and vegetarian options
The bar side is cool. The service on the beer side borders on abysmal. 4 people behind the bar, only 1 taking orders. I guess the others are there as emotional support.
I love this place. Great selection of drinks (beer and full bar) and food. The pizza is surprisingly delicious, coming from a spoiled/picky New Englander. Highly recommend the elote pizza (and the classic pepperoni). They always have a lot of fun events going on, and Gwyn H. goes above and beyond to advertise these events and bring in customers. I wouldn’t have known about Crooked Run without her, and now recommend it to all my friends. Her love for this establishment is palpable - and she is always HUSTLING behind the bar. Brett and Bryce are great bartenders, always lovely and attentive, but Bryce legit makes the most delicious martinis I have ever tasted - he’s a wizard. The lighting and music in here is a vibe as well. 10/10 👌🏻
The place is ok, pizza is mediocre, but the bartender name Frank. That's one jerk who shouldn't be serving. If I we're young, with a temper then. There would've been law enforcement intervention required. Where and who trained you to jerk a debit card of the customer's hand so rudely. You're nothing but a bartender, not an Army SpecOp, combat veteran like me. One of these days, someone is going to hurt you seriously. Don't be disrespectful in that manner, it won't be healthy for you.
They've added J&J Pizza since the last time I was here. Very nice. Good deal on 2 slices and a drink Mon - Fri. If you like vodka sauce, I recommend the Vodka pizza with basil sauce. Very thin crust, but super tasty.
Solid IPAs, and off-the-wall inventive sours
Great brewery, decent food — but the bathroom situation is unacceptable.
This venue hosts three or four businesses, though it's unclear if they all share the same bathroom. Regardless, the sanitary conditions are shockingly poor. With so many customers coming through, it's hard to believe they can't manage basic cleanliness. It really detracts from the overall experience. The beer is excellent, and the food is decent, but they seriously need to improve restroom maintenance — especially the persistent odor coming from the men's bathroom.
Came here for a softball team gathering. Ordered pizza. It took too long as there was only one person working that kitchen, then it came out burnt. The beer was alright but nothing spectacular. Not worth my time and I will never bother to go there again.
One of my favorite breweries in the area. Awesome tasting beers. A staple for beer coming out of nova.
Came in with a group for a bite to eat and some beers next door at J&J’s which is connected via a hall here. With countless beers on tap (30 or so or more), and tacos and more on their menu. The outdoor seating area is my favorite with countless picnic style tables, and areas for kids to run around and play in. It’s accessible and easy to find despite being tucked away in an industrial style complex. Super clean. There are countless options for dietary needs next door including vegetarian, gluten free and more as well as here on their menu with tacos and more. 10/10 highly recommend. Service was quick, and the atmosphere was inviting and fun. Tried the coastal Pilsner, the Hefeweizen and the IPA, and all were amazing. They have a fantastic selection and the beers are cheap compared to other places. J&J’s next door that you can move back and forth between is also excellent with great pizza, atmosphere and options including a full liquor and wine bar. What an interesting and really well thought out business concept and plan. Will be back when we come back to town.

First time. Enjoyed my visit. Great beer. The Sr. Ramon tacos were awesome. Look forward to returning.
Every time I'm in the Sterling area for work, I make it a point to come to Crooked Run (and Senor Ramon Taqueria). I have never had a beer from them that was bad. Even the ones that weren't to my personal taste, I could tell that the beer was well done.
I love their selection of unique sour ales (Rainbow Road and Ambrosia are two of my favorites. Chela Loca is superb as well).
I can't wait to see what they have next time I'm around!
Nice local brewery!
Hands down the best brewery stop for food on the W&OD
Good beer, friendly staff. Cool patio, hot pizza.
