Dropped by on a weekday morning for breakfast and was impressed with the staff, but not the food.
Initial impression - restaurant was very clean and seemed well staffed for the time of day. I was seated quickly, and a server came over shortly thereafter with a carafe of coffee, offering me a cup, which I accepted. She then took my order and left the carafe, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the coffee wasn't very good. If you add milk and/or sugar, you might not mind as much, but I drink it black, so poor quality stands out.
My food arrived fairly quickly. I had ordered the supposedly healthy avocado toast, which was highlighted on their menu as a specialty, but it was quite disappointing. The toast was fine, and it was covered with an absolute massive quantity of avocado, but the avocado was refrigerator cold, which really ruined the meal. The server also did not ask how I wanted the eggs, which was a bit of a surprise. Given it was listed under healthy options, I assumed they would ask and have the option for egg whites or perhaps even an egg substitute, but she walked off before I thought to ask about options or even style. They arrived over easy, and were just average. They really didn't add to the meal, unlike some restaurants that integrate them into the avocado toast.
The waitress followed up after I was finished and left the check, which I was able to pay at the table by scanning a QR code, which I liked. I hate handing my credit card to someone who disappears for some time, so props to them for this option.
I also visited restroom on the way out and it was incredibly clean and smelled great. Granted, it's a new restaurant and was early in the morning, so your mileage may vary.
All In all, everything was great except for the food and drink, which is a fairly critical part of dining out, so that sucks a bit. Probably won't be back.

Great food. What else can be said?? Had the gravy and biscuits which was phenomenal and had their Kale juice which is done fresh. Coming from a person that doesn't do veggies this drink was Amazing. Easily a place that is going to be added to my rotation and continue trying their yummy food

Had a nice experience at the First Watch in Sterling. The food was fresh, flavorful, and well-portioned — you can tell they use quality ingredients. Service was friendly, though a bit slow since it was busy during brunch hours. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed weekend meal. Overall, a solid spot for breakfast or brunch — definitely worth coming back to
