For years, my wife and I have enjoyed dinner at Fireworks. There is another reason to love this restaurant, and that is their weekend bottomless brunch. Fireworks in Cascades opens at 11 on the weekends, and the brunch is available until about 3 pm. The selection is fantastic. We normally start with a Hot Irish Coffee, fresh and hot beignets that come with Nutella and strawberry dipping sauces, and the best breakfast sandwiches I've had. Mika’s Neapolitan - World of Pizzas offers amazing food, spectacular service, and a wonderful drink selection. The restaurant delivers true Neapolitan style with a soft, pillowy crust and beautiful char from the wood-fired oven. The ingredients are super fresh, and the quality is clear in every bite. The Virginia Pizza with the apples is a great choice for those feeling adventurous. The classic pepperoni is outstanding with generous toppings, tangy sauce, and melty cheese. The Margherita is equally fantastic, simple but elevated. The gluten free pizza is delicious. The four pig (meat lovers) pie features fresh tomatoes, a nice thin crust, and was not soggy from the meat. Service was on point, friendly, and welcoming. The mixed berry crepes were good, though the blueberries kept running away. Portions are great, and everything came out hot and fast. Gluten-free options are available. Outdoor seating is a bonus. This is an underrated treasure in Sterling, perfect for a quick lunch, family dinner, or takeout. Pro tip: Try the pepperoni rolls.
