Just okay… the place is pretty small and can feel a little cramped. Coming from the south and growing up on southern staples nothing screamed out southern to us. Our cornbread was dry. Waiters and waitresses- sweet but understaffed and ordering took awhile and then the food took a while to come out. My daughter ordered hot chocolate and there was purple lipstick on her mug… it’s unfortunate but we were not impressed to go back.
After reading the mixed reviews, I was quite nervous to try this place. Our experience was wonderful. We had an excellent server Ziniah and not a single dish that we tried was bad. I learned from Ziniah that most of the negative reviews were from people who had not made a reservation. So be sure to make a reservation. It took me almost 3 weeks to find an after-church lunch reservation. But I am glad we waited.

Great food, great service, great price. You can’t beat their unlimited brunch for $34 with plenty of savory and sweet options. The portions were good, and the food was tasty. Our server Ziniah was sweet and very attentive. There was space for our stroller, and the bathroom had a changing station- so fairly family friendly. We will return.
