Nectar Cocktail Bar

When I first moved to the area I didn’t know what was what. Fortunately, I came across this place and it provided a fun spot to hangout and get to know a bunch of good people. Each night they have different events and specials going on so you will always be entertained. The cocktails here are really good. Honestly the espresso martini here is probably one of the best I have had in the DMV. Don’t sleep on this place. If you prefer beer just walk steps over to the brewery. Really all these spots in this food hall should get 5 stars. You can order cocktails at the Nectar Bar and food is available to order at Señor Ramon Taqueria and J&J pizza. Both are perfect for a night out. The times I have been here have been on a Friday night where they do karaoke around 8 ish. Maybe a little earlier idk but anyway it’s really cool to see all the people get into it and enjoy life. If you are feeling froggy come here and show your skills on the mic haha. That’s 5 ⭐️ right there

Frank and Brandon Crystal were fricken brilliant. Not only were the bartenders amazing on whichever side you went, I had an amazing time. I truly recommend this place for anybody who needs a solid drink and a great time with good music an absolutely phenomenal customer service.

This is a great place to hang out. They have outdoor seating, indoor seating, night time music, games, special guests, separate pizza and taqueria options for food, beer at Crooked Run and cocktails all in one place together! There's something for everyone.

Nectar is nestled in a little office park area along with J&J Pizza and a few other little food and drink vendors. The staff is always kind and welcoming, even when they are busy. The drinks are well made and tasty. Seating can get a little cramped when there are a lot of people, but other than that, it's a great local place to grab drinks after work or on the weekends. Try to catch some of the live music every Saturday.

Love this whole complex. You can't go wrong with Nectar or Crooked Run. All the food is great.

Nectar Cocktail Bar... Where do I begin.

This is going to be a 2-Way review (stay tuned for the Crooked Run review!), so bear with the lengthyness of this one.

To keep it straight:

-Service is always a 10/10. If you know what you want, you're getting it. Period, the end. Do your own research and look at the menus, my friends. If you have a specific request, bartenders at Nectar are ALWAYS more than welcome to accommodate the highest standard possible.

-Atmosphere - This here is the big one. I'm a frequent flier of the Friday night Karaoke sessions hosted by On Point Entertainment (@onpointentertainmentva for my Instagram-savvy ones!), and let me tell you, it is ALWAYS a hit. This is the kind of Friday night that you can always count on to start your weekend off on the most REFRESHING foot! It's welcoming, it's warm, and the CROWD always leaves you yearning for more from our local vocal enthusiasts! Steve and Lucy are some of the GREATEST hosts of these Friday night sessions, and it's an absolute blessing to have them to constantly fuel my lively social endeavors.

Nectar Cocktail Bar is perfect if you're looking for something refreshing, something new, something reliable, something welcome, and ALWAYS something to give you reason to make your way back into this perfect little strip of eats, drinks, and memories.

Awesome experience, all walks of life welcomed, I did not want to leave but I had lol can't wait to go back.

We had our company Christmas party here. Great food options, friendly staff and we had a wonderful time. Great drinks and kid friendly too.

Hosted a corporate event here and Nikole was amazing. There were a few issues during the event that were speedily remedied. The place has a good ambiance and there's a great trivia host on Thursdays at 7 pm ?

Not a great place for singles.

The small bar faces the wall so you have to take a walk to mingle with people. The bartenders are understaffed so you can't really chat w them. The events after 7pm are usually good but you have to stand or take up a table

The pizza is CRAZY expensive. The only menus are these tiny pamphlets hidden behind the bar which makes it look like a Fat impulse buy. 30 dollars for a pie inside a bar no af thank you lol

Outside the building theres a huge seating area which is great if you have friends in Nova.

The cocktails are interesting. The one i had was avg - over 15$ not worth the cost. Crooked Run is connected, some good trys for beer lovers

I will say the taco joint in Crooked Run is pretty great compared to likes of Taco Zocalo in one Loudon. Good prices, hot sauce options, and GREAT chicken tacos!

Nikole was amazing! We hosted an event this past weekend and she was a huge help every step of the way. From the start, Nikole was flexible when it came to selecting a time and date, promptly answered the thousands of questions I had for her along the way, helped us promote our event and made sure everything was in order/set up on the day of. We had a wonderful time and the venue was perfect for our needs. I can not say enough great things Nikole and her staff! Go check them out!

I wish more places would have a beer garden (like the legit ones in German). This place had a very chill vibe, good food, and good beer selection
