Old Dominion Doggery & Burger Shoppe

Stopped in with my wife and kids. Knew it would be slow as the place started to fill up. Waited quite a long time to finally have our orders taken. Food took even longer to come out. When it finally did, three of us got ours, my wife did not. We finished our meals and she still did not have hers. Waitress brought a burger out and it was wrong. My wife asked her to take it back and remove it from the bill. Another waitress came out and asked what was wrong. Explained it was not what she ordered. We just wanted the bill so we could leave. Waitress took it off the bill along with the iced teas. Not one time did anyone come and acknowledge my wife never received her meal. The food we did get was good, unfortunate the service did not match.

Fantastic food!

Service was fantastic and the old-time décor felt homey. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich which came with a side of fries. The pork was extremely salty. I should have sent it back but I was starving from hiking and didn't want to wait longer to eat.

Best burgers I’ve ever put in my mouth, they are so amazing that as I received my food I gave birth to a little Gordon Ramsey and he told me that the burgers were better than his own

We waited kind of a long time (35 mins) for 3 hot dogs with minimal toppings and a mac and cheese.
My husband ordered a beer with our food, and then our waitress came back and asked if he’d like another one and he said yes.
We then waited 45 mins maybe more, she did not check on us since the once after ordering, and were never brought the 2nd beer. I was never offered a refill on my tea which was lower than half way when she checked and asked about the beer. We then got our check to see that we were charged for 2 beers and when we brought it to the attention of the waitress, we were met with a nasty face and rude response of “ummm ok, I could’ve sworn I brought you another”.
It was taken off our check but the rude response and face made alongside the complete lack of service, we won’t be coming back.

Food is decent, flavors are unique and feel homemade. The chips are worth the drive alone. The service is less than stellar but easy to overlook the issues with such a good meal. Alien relish is kind of cool as well. A bit pricey for the quality of food, but an experience you need to have while in the area.

The food was good, but it would've been better if we weren't waiting an entire hour to receive it.

Food was ok. Our mozz discs were squirting (almost a foot) and dripping it made the experience fairly unpleasant. I would suggest wringing out your cheese before you cook with it the water content is extremely high.

Paid 60$ and was asked to pay extra for honey mustard. Don’t nickle and dime folks. People spend hard earned money to eat out in or take out and you want to make some money back on sauces? YHope the margins were worth it, because I probably won’t be back.

One of my favorite restaurants anywhere! The food is so good, and the restaurant is beautiful. Very unique hot dogs and always new monthly specials.
