I got the chili cheese fries, the portion is huge, definitely shareable. The fries are good and fresh and they are loaded with the chili and cheese.

First time visiting this local restaurant and I decided to place an order online through their website. It was convenient and easy and I liked that the food was ready upon arrival. The hotdogs were pretty good, all beef but I didn’t care for the chili, it didn’t taste homemade. Also I ordered a side of baked beans and fries, the beans tasted like they were from a can and the hand cut fries were just awful, not seasoned, shoestring size and half of the fries were overcooked and the other half was almost raw. Honestly I probably wouldn’t eat here again. How do you mess up on fries?

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Have only been the one time ....well....twice in one day because it was so good I had to take my daughter there too! Wish this was a franchise....I have a great place in NC that would be a PERFECT spot for something like this! I tell every single person about Danny's Downtown Dogs. I'm trying to conjure one up!

This place was highly recommended, but one time was enough for me.I ordered a chicken wrap and plain hotdog for lunch. The wrap, not filling at all. I had more wrap than chicken. My hotdog, the bun was split on both sides... just disappointing.Luckily ice cream was nearby and made my lunch date better.Good luck if you decide to go.

We ordered a chili cheese dog and a bird dog with chopped Caesar salad. Friendly service and fast. Both were delicious. Definitely dine in and sit at the bar top facing out to Main Street. Enjoyed lunch while watching the cars go by. Will definitely be back again soon.

Not a bad little spot. We went for lunch on a Friday and didn’t wait long at all. 4 Booths, a window bar and a long family style picnic table for large groups. Lots of choices for variation of hot dogs. Mac and Cheese was ON POINT. Simple menu, simple place. Good prices too. Well worth a visit, the food tasted great!

AWESOME place, convenient to get to right across from Downtown Courthouse. I hope they do great and last very long time. It's about time Downtown got a good hot dog place and this is it ! They are also very friendly and excellent service.
Good Chicago style, not authentic, but it tasted great.Vegetarian options: I only saw one thing that was vegetarian. Why anyone would go to a hot dog joint and want something vegetarian is beyond me.

I’ve been looking for a good hotdog place for a while and Danny’s did not disappoint. The hotdogs were cooked exactly how I like, the order was correct and arrived hot (they offer delivery ??) and the macaroni and cheese was sooo good! You can definitely tell it’s homemade. This place is delicious and the prices are great too. I’m so excited to have found Danny’s!

What a cute little spot! Finally got to try the food today. I ordered online, so I can't speak about the dine-in service, but when I arrived my food was hot and ready for me. I got the Philly dog, Mandi dog, and a side of Mac and cheese. Everything was awesome, especially the mac! The coleslaw did seem prepackaged, but I can't complain, especially for the price. I am so thankful whenever I find a small business downtown that actually has good food, and I'll definitely be back!
