I swear I drove around the block at least twice trying to get to this place. I was committed from the street.
It was worth it. Selection is pretty extensive, and is dine and dash deliciousness. Sock hop music is a little annoying and worth tipping the servers who have to deal with the noise, but the place is worth a stop for a hotdog the next time you are in downtown Suffolk.

If I could give AJ's Downtown Dogs more than five stars, I absolutely would. This place deserves it.
Before this spot, the only place around here to even kind of get a hot dog was Cook Out and let’s be honest, the Cook Out well... The rating it has makes sense..... This place completely changes the game.
