Downtown Dog on Main street is an amazing place to get a bite to eat, the atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the staff are always there, helpful and efficient taking your order and getting it out to you. The food is top tier! I absolutely love this spot and will recommend it to anyone that is looking for a local place to get some grub!
We decided to grab lunch after visiting the new library in Suffolk and stumbled upon this hot dog establishment! It was DELICIOUS! I love a variety on the menu when it comes to hot dogs.
I got the Dave’s Carolina dog & hubs got the hellfire dog. Our daughter got the lil pup & it comes in the cutest holder.

Super friendly from the moment you walk in the door. Smells amazing. The menu is extensive...especially since your main offering is hot dogs. So many different choices. The food is cooked to order and in the open in front of you. Chili is really good and pairs super well on the tots with cheese. The hot dogs are amazing. This is surely a place to stop and try. They also have some other offerings (not much) if you arent a hot dog fan but hey you are walking into a hot dog spot....
