Service was slow waiter put orders in but chef didn't see order for steak. We all received our food and my husband did not receive his steak until we were finished eating our dinner. The waiter compensated my husband with a shrimp cocktail. Don't have any complaints other than service was too slow.
Our reservation was at 5 and we were promptly seated at that time. Our waitress came to our table as soon as we were seated and took our orders. Our food arrived a short time thereafter and it was delicious. The only minor hiccup was, my daughter ordered her steak medium rare and it came out medium, otherwise, a flawless evening. We dined at River Stone on Friday evening, and food and service were good. Our only disappointment was the lack of air conditioning. After we'd been seated for over 30 minutes we noticed how warm it was and it seemed to be getting warmer. We asked our server if the restaurant could turn the temperature down on the a/c and she said it was broken, had been for a couple of days, and would not be fixed until after the holiday because the repair person had to order a part.
