Delicious everything

All burgers are cooked well but I didn't care because it was so juicy. It was definitely a top notch burger for me. I got the truffle burger and added crispy onion straws. I got the house chips and added their truffle parm to them. Delish!
The waitress was friendly and accommodating. We sat outside on a nice overcast day. The music bass was a little loud but they turned it off, so much better atmosphere after that. I'd been fine if they just turned it down some. All in all great experience.

This is the thing Tappahanock has going for it. Fresh food made to order. Decent service.

1 star for this place is generous. Upcharged for cold, soggy fries. Burgers were cold. One entree didn't show up until everyone else finished eating. When we arrived. There was a single family seated outdoors and they didn't get their food until we were paying our bill. The toilet was busted and wouldn't flush. I would have rather went to McDonald's and am astounded this place is still open for business.

Mediocre food, slow service, the lobster roll was flavorless and $25 we ordered 2 lobster rolls that were served with homemade chips, Boba tea, purple haze mixed drink ( he said that was great) and truffle fries $105 the lobster rolls served on split hot dog bun. Very small. Not worth the price. The Truffle fries tasted burnt like the fryer oil needed changing. The server seemed like she hated even being there. Never once smiled or said anything nice.

In town for work and stopped in here to grab a lobster roll. It was very good. Market price was $26, but hey, it's lobster! The banana cream shake was delicious too! Very casual vibe with friendly, attentive service.

The server was as cold as ice. The burgers were not good at all. The edges were completely burnt. The only good thing about the experience was we sat outside and they allow dogs so we had 4 absolutely spectacular dogs to keep us entertained while we waited 35 minutes for our food.

Over rated and over priced. We ordered the Grilled Cheese Cheese Burger. Instead of grilled cheese sandwiches they used hamburger bun bottoms half grilled with cheese in-between. For $20 a piece I expected more. I've had a grilled cheese cheese burger before for less that was much better. The sandwich came with chips that I am guessing were made on site but were poorly done. So much grease I actually felt sick to my stomach about an hour later. Oh and the tomato dip that came with the meal was just watered down Campbell's soup. Top it off with a wait staff that did not want to be working, it was just a disappointment from start to finish.

Homemade chips and crafted burgers after a day fishing on the river was worth the price. Great choices of beer.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great! The wife and I came from Hampton, VA and it was so worth the trip!

Will not return. We didn't get the right order, the table next to us got all wrong orders and raw burgers, the fries kinda sucked, and it was $9 for 2 soda waters. Do not recommend. Go to Five Guys instead.
