I got the lobster roll and it was not as good as I thought it would be, a little too much mayonnaise for my taste but I will go back and try a burger

Food was excellent as usual. But all sandwiches come with a side now, which I never ordered before and really didn’t want. Prices really went up. $77 for 3 burgers and 4 sodas. They now have only table service. It takes much longer than ordering and picking it up yourself like it used to be. Our waitress was subpar. She didn’t give us napkins until we asked for them, she never came over to see how our food was and she never brought the check. I had to go find her in order to pay. I also had to ask for toilet paper.

I order a large pickup order three days in advance. I got a random text at 9pm the Friday before that it was completed. I called and they told me to call back Monday to remind them to make the order. Fine. So I called 35 minutes before pick up time to confirm the order. It was given to me 10 minutes late (I waited in the restaurant for nearly 20 minutes). And then the order was not correct, sadly. We made due with what they gave us, but I probably wouldn’t order a large meal for the team again.

The main reason for my disappointment is that I used to have NN so high up in my mind when it came to food... Not this time, unfortunately. My burger was overcooked, completely dry, almost burned, the fries portion was like a kid's menu portion, and the prices I paid for my disappointing meal were astronomical. I used to make NN a "destination" while riding my motorcycle all the way from Upper Marlboro. After this experience, not any more. I'm sad I had to post this review, but that's what happened...

The people at the counter didn’t know where my food was I walked in twice said ohh it be ready in about 6 mins go back in their still not ready walked back to my car sat for 30 more mins went back inside people front counter just looking at my didn’t ask if needed help So I had to say something then they acted as if they didn’t know where my 92 dollars of food was personaly the priceing sucks for the service I got

We specifically stopped at NN Burger because their sign said "Best Burgers in Virginia," as rated by Virginia Living magazine readers. I have never written an unfavorable review before, but our visit did not come close to our optimistic expectations. The entire concrete floor was sticky; our server didn't seem to want to be there; my burger was so overcooked that it crunched when I bit into it. Our server never came back to check on us, and when we took our order receipt to the cashier's station, I told the cashier what we had (which was on the order receipt), she turned to our server and verified we were at the table where the cashier herself had seated us. No "thank you for coming in," or "how was everything?" We paid and left. I regret having to write an unfavorable review, but we were very disappointed.

This place has gone so far downhill it will never recover. Stopped for lunch today- the nearly empty outdoor space and indoor should have served as a warning. This place used to pack them in at lunch. Never saw our waitress after plopping down a mediocre lobster roll and a dry green goddess wrap with no green goddess dressing. She said she’d be back with some ranch dressing and my milkshake; never saw either. Save yourself the hassle and go anywhere else.

Yesterday was the worst that I have experienced at the NN Burger.. I know now that after you tip, because now when your sitting at the table with a waitress you have to pay right then and there. And after they bring you your food that's it, you don't see anyone after that. She got me my first drink and then after that I had to go get my own refills. So just fyi.
Stopped in while driving through the city. Staff were so professional and nice. I ordered a Mouthwatering lobster roll and cookie shake ?? I'll definitely return my next trip through.

They apparently have gone to a sit down order process with waitresses (we didn’t find this out until all the employees watched us stand at the old order counter for 10 mins). After we realized we had to sit to order, we waited another 15 mins just to be greeted by a waitstaff. She took our order and then payment including tip. All would have been fine but then we waited almost an hour for food at which point I walked up and asked the manager what was happening. He let me know there were still 3 orders ahead of us then told me he would give us a refund and blamed it on the new system. Not sure what is new other then the method of ordering but the whole experience was horrible and we will not be going back.

Today was terrible at NN Burger. They told us to sit down and they would wait on us but they never waited on us. We used to order at the register and then pick up at the kitchen but today they had waitresses but obviously not enough of them because the wait was 40 minutes! We ended up ordering online it was so bad. The worst part was the lobster roll though. I ordered the Connecticut one and it was room temperature, soggy bread and half of the normal amount of lobster that I usually get on it The kitchen staff was very slow and goofing off and the waitress staff were chatting rather than hustling. We watched many people leave because of these issues. Our bill was $55 for the two of us, NOT WORTH IT! Not sure we will make the drive from Fredericksburg again.
