We went for my husband's birthday to get the lobster rolls. He ordered both kinds with double meat & they did NOT look like they had double meat. There was hardly any butter or mayo on them & the lobster did not taste fresh. The chips that came with them were soggy & had no seasoning. I didn't realize that paying $11 for a burger would not include a side, at All! It had a nice bun & fresh veg but the meat honestly tasted like any fast casual chain burger. The house made sauces were pretty good.The staff was very friendly but the food service was terribly slow. Won't return.

They give you a notification box but then just scream your name a few times until you come get your food...so not sure what the point of the box was.The burgers were okay. Preformed patties and decent, but not the "voted best burger in VA" quality one would expect from the billboards around town.No fries...sweet potato fries were really good! And the housemade chips were a nice surprise.They do that freakshakes (the weird shakes with slices of cake on top) if you're into those. They seemed popular.All in all, okay...we won't go out of our way, but we wouldn't say no if someone wanted to go...

NN has always been a favorite stop of ours when passing through Tapp. Stopped today for the first time in a long time and the burgers have definitely changed and not for the better! We ordered 4 burgers and they were all over cooked and honestly looked like frozen burgers! Ordered the twister fries and they always came with a cheese sauce and now they are served with a nasty honey mustard sauce. Unfortunately we just had our last visit! 4 burger 1 order of “fries” $60!!!! So disappointed.

I ordered the truffle burger and it was really bad. The burger itself was dry and old tasting. The mushrooms were rancid. The best thing we had was the beer. The bathrooms were not very clean at all, smears in the walls, paper on the floor. This was a disappointment experience for $50.00. I will say the two girls at the counter were very nice.

The prices have shot up and the menu options have declined. No fries, just potato chips. $65 for 3 classic burgers, 1 chips, 1 sweet potato waffle fry, 3 drinks. Been here dozens of times from an hour away. Absolutely no reason to return and will not recommend.

Use to be one of our favorite spots to get burgers and they have changed the whole menu nothing NN Burger is famous for is still on it(besides lobster rolls which were very poor looking now) the servers were rude when asked questions about the menu. The food was subpar looked like it was just thrown together. Not sure if they are under new ownership or what but if ur gonna change the whole menu like that then might as well change the name as well cause that place was not NN burger. Highly disappointed.

I’m honestly not sure what happened to this place. My wife and I have been coming since they first opened. Hadn’t been in a couple of months and came to get some dinner tonight just to find that our favorite burger was gone, the French fries are gone and the twister chips are gone. We still ordered something new anyway and gave it a try but her patty melts buns were literally upside down burger buns and the burger was dry and my burger was also as dry as the desert. Got the chips and they literally taste like nothing. Wish it was the way it used to be and it seems we aren’t the only ones because a Friday at 7pm it sure wasn’t busy. Honestly don’t want to go back unless it changes and our friends felt the same way.
The shakes are amazing. They recently changed their menu and some family favorites have been removed. Crossing our fingers the black bean burger and shoestring fries make a come back.

This used to be my favorite spot on our drive to the beach. The new ownership is ruining a great spot. The prices are too high, the buns are too big for the burgers. Why did you destroy my go to spot. My kids used to get chicken tenders and fries and my boyfriend would die for the sweet southern style tea. What the heck I was gonna get a chicken sandwich and let them share that but that’s gone. They have replaced the tea with some watered down kool aid stuff. Sorry I won’t be back I hope the old owners by back the restaurant.

I, honestly, have no idea how it is voted the best of anything. It was extremely over priced, you ordered and picked up your own food at a counter, the food didn't taste great and the burgers were extremely dry and too small for the bun, the shake barely had any flavor, and only a choice of cake which the one you receive automatically was one with rainbow jimmies or if not you can get cotton candy but yet on the scrolling TV screen next to the counter you order at they show a ton more so you think that is what you're getting when you order a specific flavor of shake. I don't know how we heard multiple times that they were good, but maybe the quality has gone extremely downhill. Have no desire to go back and would have preferred Wendy's for a heck of a lot cheaper. No French fried or sweet tea are offered if you still decide to go.
