Stopped in today and had crab cake sandwich and coleslaw. Both were delicious. My husband had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and fries and said that both were excellent. Highly recommend this establishment. It is one of my daughter’s favorite place to eat when visiting our summer cottage.

First time visiting. My husband and two of our adult sons ordered different dishes, and each was delicious! Our waitress was delightful. And today we got free desserts! This has become our new favorite family lunch place!

This is a hidden gem in Tappahannock, Virginia. If you want some fabulous southern cooking from scratch, you need to go eat at To Do Cafe. If you’re lucky enough to eat here when oysters are in season, you are in for a treat. Some of the best fried oysters around. If you’re looking for a good old-fashioned BLT or grilled cheese, you’ve also come to the right place. And I shouldn’t forget the fabulous, homemade pies and cakes. I was thrilled to find that in this little town, there is a restaurant that has southern food and southern hospitality down to a tee. It’s absolutely worth the drive from Richmond or Fredericksburg. Bring your appetite!

So happy that we randomly stopped here for breakfast on our way back up to DC area. We came for breakfast on a Sunday and loved everything. We sat at one of the few outdoor tables as we had our dog with us.

The crab balls app were all crab meat, no filler, and were so flavorful they didn't even need a dipping sauce. My husband loved his eggs, potatoes, meat dish and I really enjoyed the crab cake sandwich. You can get it grilled but I got it fried and it was perfectly cooked! I also loved the onion petals, clearly hand breaded with a delicate breading layer and not frozen.

This place knows seafood and frying! Even the coffee was excellent. Can't wait to stop again next time were in the area.
