Every time I come here it gets better and better. Love the menu, cool atmosphere and good drink menu too. Every restaurant should have a good drink menu. Did I mention the good booze?

Great service, beautiful view, and probably one of the best Fish & Chips I've ever had! Definitely worth to drive.

Really nice place in the neighborhood. Nature all around you. Prices are awesome, nothing is overpriced. Our food was delicious and so much we took some boxes. Our waitress/host/server was so sweet and nice (unfortunately I don’t remember her name, but she was kinda tall girl with blond hair, name started with M I believe). We had an amazing lunch there, really enjoyable, delicious and relaxing.

This review is for the updated and upgraded Virginia Grill. The food is excellent since their makeover—particularly their fried shrimp or their fish and chips. Their crab cakes are excellent, also. They have a wide variety of beers, wines, and ciders, as well as a full bar. On some nights they also have live music. BTW, you do NOT have to be a member of the golf course to eat here..it’s open to the public. If you live in the Toano area, this is a great place to get a good meal without having to head all the way into Williamsburg.

Stumbled across this place while travelling and stopped in around 7pm with our 3 kids for dinner. At first, we weren't sure we were supposed to be there due to the location but was immediately welcomed right in. Mary was our server, she was friendly, prompt and service was fantastic. We enjoyed the food and everything was cooked just right. We travel through this area often, and will definitely dine in again.

Cocktails were on point! The bar tender’s recommendations were so good, we just kept ordering them! Cucumber martini and a lavender sour! Thanks for a great Saturday night!

This restaurant is now called The Virginia Grill. My wife and I came here with friends for lunch. We all had different entrees and we all enjoyed our meals. Our server Chanta did an excellent job even though she was the only server in the restaurant. The location looks out on a golf course--very pretty setting! The only drawback here was the disgusting men's room--floor and walls destroyed and awful graffiti. Suggest you not use this until it is totally redone!

This place was outstanding even though we slammed it with a last minute barrage of 25 people walking in with little notice. The food was spectacular and our server, who was also doubling as the hostess was on it like white on rice. She never skipped a beat.Portion sizes were far larger than I expected and the kitchen pushed out masterpieces.

Kid-friendliness: We have 16 kids and they worked with us and made the meal a great one.

Wanted a half veggie, half meat pizza. They said it wouldn’t be a problem, but, they didn't give any heads up that it would cost $33.84 for an 11.5 inch pizza that wasn't even good or even hot. Rang me up for 11 toppings, some of which weren’t even on my pizza (like chicken, which I was charged $2.50 for). Would have cost the same to order a whole meat and a whole veggie. $33.84. Under 12” (I measured). Last time eating here.

I come to the Grill once a month and have always enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Mary is an awesome waitress and bar tender. She has such an amazing personality and really works so hard to keep everyone served and satisfied. My favorites are the Asian wings and fried calamari.

Met friends for dinner. Had great service from Patrick. Because friends were from PA we were not hurried and had a great meal and enjoyable time. Thanks Virginia Grill.

This place just gets worst… mushroom and Swiss burgers (x2) no mushrooms or onions. Just the main part of the burgers. Fries taste like they’re from last night. They won’t answer the phone and when you place the order from there, set aside an hour to wait.

Finally getting there! This place has been through several owners and has had a lot of ups and downs. We gave it another shot over the weekend and things have definitely improved. Our server, Mary was fantastic and the food and drinks were satisfactory. We heard some exciting renovations are underway to make the place feel more welcoming and modern (less like a stuffy golf/country club). We're excited to see how things progress!!! Keep up the good work!

One star is too much! I want to love this place as it is in my neighborhood, but am disappointed every time. I have tried to like it, but have always been let down. I visited this place the other day and had a dead fly on my plate. I saw several dead flies on the windowsill as well. Our waitress was wonderful, she was also our hostess and bartender!!! She was amazing doing three jobs.
