Very cute nice spot! Loved the exterior of the place. Inside very cute and cozy. Girl working was very nice. Extremely nice coffee and loved the cute latte art. Tartes were tasty and we loved the caramel cake. Will definitely come back and try the cheesecake!!

Love the food and the personnel. The women working behind the counters were very pleasant and nice to talk to!

The 4 scrambled eggs on toast, sweet potato, kids waffle, pasta dish on lunch menu and brownie were all delicious!

The hot drink was not that sweet, it needed sugar.

Would love to return here in the future.

Cute little place, I do like the environment. The workers are kind from what I’ve experienced. Food & coffee are decent. I am normally a Starbucks person, but wanted to support small business, so I placed to-go orders online for pickup to grab & go before work. My order has never been ready by pick up time. The coffee order was always started upon my arrival (I get it, maybe they want it to be hot and fresh, but time is my priority), and food was always late. I’m sure they’ll push back on this review because they seem to debate or negotiate every negative review. I guess just don’t bank on your stuff coming out fast, save Hohl for when you have time to spend. I did order to the wrong Hohl one time and they were kind enough to just remake my order, so I appreciate that.

EDIT: They did respond LOL. So much for the customer is always right. Hohl has a reputation for debating with customers. I should add the delays for my pickups were 15-20 minutes from when food was supposed to be ready (I have a long commute to work), and it was placed first thing in the morning. Not sure why one order should take 45 minutes from store opening. Anyways… I’ll just take my business elsewhere.

This was a pretty good meal, but the coffee is a little too strong. It was quite loud but the decor and views are beautiful.

Kacey was extremely gracious and kind. She really knows her stuff. Everyone is encountered was very kind.

The coffee is supurb! I went to another coffee shop prior to this and they didn't have house syrups. So thank you for having that! Everything smells and taste amazing.

Thank you Kacey for a great first visit. I'll be back again.

Fast paced coffee shop with excellent food. I’d recommend anything from the bakery case and everything on the menu.

So how did I arrive at an overall “3” when Food, Service, and Atmosphere were “4”? Price. $50 for breakfast‽ Granted, the food was very good (scrambled eggs, bacon, sourdough toast, peach & cherry danish, autumn latte and Tanzania drip) but not great. Service was good (front counter person was warm and welcoming, food delivery person was polite but staid). Atmosphere was very good, with good use of space for a historic house, kind of like IKEA meets small country store. But I can get this level of excellence from First Watch or Pangaea at a lower price. Would I rather support small, locally owned vs a chain? Yes, but price is a factor. I’m glad we tried it, at the recommendation of friends, but we’ll stick to our local options for less coin.
