“I can’t overstate how special this restaurant is. We met dear friends here last night before the Urbanna Christmas Parade and were blown away by the entire dining experience. Walking in, there was a warm fire, stylish holiday decor, and a small crowd for an early 5 o’clock seating. Our server was friendly and extremely knowledgeable of the menu, making thoughtful recommendations and delicious smoked Old Fashioneds at our table. We started with local oysters “Greekefeller” topped with spinach and house made tapenade…they were ridiculously fresh, creamy, and flavorful. The creative menu offers something for everyone and our table had shrimp piccata, beet salad, house made spanakopita, and duck ragout. Food presentation, service, and wine selections did not disappoint. The chefs at Prime Mediterranean create a gourmet experience where one is needed; we so appreciate it 30 minutes home.“
