Well, where do I start. I guess at the beginning. Small thing, but maybe worth mentioning, immediately when I walked I was struck with a dusty old house smell if you know what mean. There was also nobody in sight, at first I thought there was genuinly nobody there. It took a few minutes iutes for the one guy there to think about greeting us, it was late so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe everyone else went home, but doubt it. Most the items on the menu where out and the ribs seemed a bit over priced (6 for $25.) Another thing worth mentioning is the restroom is very small and would likely be quite a hassle if your in a wheelchair. Now for the food, the ribs where a bit tough, had a odd plasticy taste, and where kinda bland and there was only one sauce option. All the sides where microwaved, baked beans where likely bushes or some other canned bean. The green beans where just bad generally. The only thing that was good was the corn bread, but that bar is pretty low.So, definitely would not recommend to anyone.

Food is great everything I visit. The portions that they give are awesome. Wish they were opened on Monday's. I wanted to order a to-go plate. Thanks for the good food you all give.

I gave this resturant a 2 because they were friendly but it's the worst bbq I have ever had! The chicken was dry and had a strong taste of bottled hickory smoke taste. The restaurant had a WEIRD smell and was overall not clean. They had eat in seating but the only restroom was broken. It was a sympathy 2 stars. Will not return. Matter of fact I wonder of the health department has visited lately

I ordered the Chicken Wing Dinner (3 wings, 2 sides, and cornbread). The chicken was dry and burnt, the baked beans tasted like it came straight from the can, the green beans tasted like they sat in old water, and the cornbread taste like paper.I would NOT recommend this to anyone. Zero stars if I could.

The folks who work at The Lazy Pig are nice enough, and their Spanish is perfect, but the food is pretty much the worst BBQ I have ever had. Anywhere. I got the brisket sandwich, which had plenty of meat on it, but it was some sort of weird, unrecognizable crockpot meat without a hint of smoke and a bizarre, stew-like sauce unrelated to any BBQ sauce ever. And forget about the dry rub -- this place is as far from Texas as you can get. In fact, get away from The Lazy Pig or prepare to be horribly disappointed.

I'm thankful to have dined at this fantastic local restaurant. You know it's gonna be good when the chef is bringing 6 slabs of ribs off the cooker as you pull up. Sweet cornbread and even sweeter family. Can't recommend enough.

Kid-friendliness: Makes me smile

Parking: Plentiful

Wheelchair accessibility: Yep

Felt like a home away from home! The smell of sweet barbeque filled the air in the best way possible. The brisket tasted even better than your Pastor makes. It like meeting the family I never knew I had and they prepared me the meal I never knew I needed. THE BEST barbeque joint in the Northern VA area!!!

Full Disclosure

The food has progressively gotten worse. Each time I get the brisket it gets worse in quality. Today-- I had 1% meat and the rest was fat. The BBQ beans look like they added beans, of a different size, to extend the quantity. It's like someone is serving the worst parts and keeping the best parts for themselves. Would take a close look at your supply chain-- someone is enjoying the best and serving the worst! Disappointing overall if you are expecting true BBQ. Do not recommend. The essence of this establishment is NOT true BBQ.

I can't even describe this meal. We ordered 2 brisket dinners with cornbread I got a sandwich and no cornbread, potato salad was so bland it was gross, brisket looked like roast beef and was mostly fat, collard greens were not right. I ha e had them from a can that tasted better. My meal for 14.50 a plate should have been immaculate and we ended up wasting 40.00 to throw it all away. Best part for me was the Mac and cheese. Not something a Virginia visitor wants to eat again. Very disappointed and shouldn't even give a 1 star rating.

This hidden place to the side of Quantico’s gate is worth a try. The little country bbq joint was fairly empty when I ventured there on Saturday for a quick lunch. For under $10, the combo of pork bbq sandwich, bag of chips and bottled water was the affordable and good meal I sought. The bbq pork sandwich was good with a large serving of meat. Recommend giving it a try as it conveniently located near the interstate exit.

The smell when you walk in tells you everything you need to know.Tried lazy pig because I wanted to support a small business instead of a chain. Unfortunately this place was really disappointing. Spent $20 on a sampler. The chicken wings were decent but I ended up throwing away the rest of it.

So glad we listened to the person who told us to get the dinners. We tried the rib tips, 1/2 chicken, and wings. That also meant we tried 5 different sides too. The smoked meat is delicious with a solid smoke flavor. The house BBQ sauce was ok, just not my style. We had so much food-we all took food home. The building is not much to look out from the outside, but inside you will find deliciousness.

First time eating here. Heard it was good and when some folks ask me out for lunch, we went here. Food was plentiful and delicious. It was a nice day and we ate outside. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

You are reading this because you want to know if the food is good and the price is decent. Well...Ribs are great, BBQ is average, Sides are below average, Chicken wings were HORRIBLE (dry & rubbery), Portion size good, price average. If you have an extra 10-15 minutes, then drive up toward Potomac Mills mall for "better" options

Excellent food. Nice people. Fair prices for a large quantity. It would have five stars but it was a bit unclean, there was no service or anyone to ask for a refill due to the employees walking into the back room after we paid and they never came back out unless a new customer came in to order.
