“I came here and had lunch with a coworker. The Tun Tavern is very quaint, and there might be a 20-minute wait, but it's well worth it. I had a smashburger, and my coworker had a reuben; everyone enjoyed their meal.I'm looking forward to going back to the National Museum of the Marine Corps and visiting the Tun Tavern to try some of their other offerings.”

“Great dinner. The service was good in both promptness, suggestions, cleaning up, etc. Food was almost top notch and had potential...but wasn't fully what I consider fine dining. It's just a nice place to have a good family and friend dinner...not necessarily a first time business dinner unless you are already networked with them. Between the 4 of us, we had salad Caesar Classique, mushroom soup, NY Strip Steak, pork chop, the special Ahi, and the special sea bass. Everything delicious and just a spot off as fine dining but definitely close to it. We had a couple good desserts also.”

“It was quite slow while I was there. We had 4 adults and a baby. The highchair was a little too large for a 6 month old, and couldn't hold a carrier. So we had her on a chair next to our booth until she decided she wanted to sit next to us. It worked out, but if it was busier it would have been a problem.”

“I was looking for a good authentic west African food place and so glad I found Hajara! I love that she uses great authentic ingredients as my other half’s family does who’s from Sierra Leone. Once we find, we were ordering every other weekend. The food is SO very tasty! I can’t wait to explore the menu. Our favorite is z potato leaves, roast meat, and cassava leaves.”

“My new favorite Cafe. My cousin from California wanted to try a Cafe. I normally don't go to Cafes but stumbled across Hahu and I'm so glad we did. I have been there several times since then and have tried their breakfast, lunch, and desserts. I've also tried their matcha and coffee and everything have been excellent from the service to their food and drinks. They're Ethiopian dishes are amazing. I never had Ethiopian food but I love trying new foods and they did not disappoint. Even the American dishes are delicious. It's my new spot to just relax and enjoy some good food, drinks, and atmosphere. I highly recommend this Cafe, you won't be disappointed.”

Meaning it is not an upscale chain or independent restaurant.The food was very good. Ordered 3 combo tacos. Beef, chicken and shrimp ? and the.food was very good ?. “Really good place for a nice dinner. Got the pizza which was really good and cook well. Our waitress Victoria was great even after a few spills was a great sport and made our experience awesome. Only reason they got 4 stars is because they don't honor happy hour unless sitting at the bar which was weird. But overall food and service were great!!”

“It was my turn to pick where "girls lunch" would be this month. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for several months so of course it was my first thought. I was hesitant though, because I had recently tried a Korean restaurant closer to my home that also had great reviews and was very disappointed. That food, like many other similar places, tasted like nothing but oil. Everything tasted the same....oil, oil, oil.I threw the idea out to the girls anyway, sent them the menu and got the thumbs up. On the way to lunch we talked about other Korean restaurants we tried in the area, how I was disappointed in the one I tried and how one friend tried a place in Manassas and thought it was good. Let me tell you, she changed her tune with her first bite. All that could be heard from our table were loud MMMMM's, You need to try this and OMG's! We could not stop talking about how good the food was, how flavorful it was and how surprising it was to actually find a place that tasted authentic and FRESH. I was the champion of the day for choosing this establishment. Go me!The fried rice was even great reheated. I didn't have to add water because it was dry. The flavor was still there. The to-go order still tasted great (according to my husband) and the leftovers for that meal also reheated well and maintained its flavor.I don't normally take screenshots of my food but I wanted to show my husband what we tried so I included it here for effect.I really wanted to keep this place as my secret little gem but the food is so good, the staff is great and they deserve a shout out so,SHOUT OUT TO SU AND THE CREW! “Hands down this is the best pizza I've ever had since moving from the Bronx, Newyork, taste, looks just like Newyork pizza with the oil drip and everything. “What a hidden, little gem the Secret Garden Cafe is! We stumbled upon it as we were passing through the area. We ate outside in the quaint “garden” complete with flowers and a lovely water feature! I ate the braised beef over macaroni and cheese while my husband enjoyed the stir fried noodles with chicken. Both dishes were delicious! The wait staff were very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed a nice, peaceful lunch! We will definitely stop back when we are in the area again!”

“I don't write reviews but I had to for this place. I stepped into this food hall and in the far corner was this unassuming stall. I ordered the shrimp & grits and brought it back to my work. I opened the container and savory deliciousness wafted graciously in our office. My mouth watered near immediate when I took a whiff. That bite. That first bite. I swear I had a mini seizure because that sauce was out of the world. I had my colleague try it and I saw the whites of his eyes just pop and I never seen that man widen his eyes like that.Get that shrimp & grits.”

The service was quick and efficient. The calamari was perfectly fried, crispy and delicious, and the pho was outstanding. “Dok Khao Thai Eatery is great food, full stop. All the usual Thai staples, plus some very delicious chef's specialties. The interior is just fancy enough if you feel like "doing it up", or casual enough that you don't feel underdressed in T-shirt and jeans. Highly recommended.”

The owner, Yabi, has created a dining experience that will make you feel that you've left the US and landed in someone's home in Ethiopian.
