I've been meaning to try this place, and was pleasantly surprised. Cozy atmosphere, lots of hometown charm. The serving staff were extremely friendly, pleasant to chat with, attentive to our needs and quick with our meals. The food was good ole comfort food. I had the chicken fried steak, baked potato and mixed fruit. The steak was still juicy and the potato was soft but not squishy. My wife had the open faced roast beef sandwich, topped with home made mashed potatoes topped...
Quaint, roadside diner feel with welcoming atmosphere! Waitress was friendly and attentive. Pork tenderloin was tasty, mashed potatoes were a great compliment to the pork, and fried apples were very tasty. Enjoyed the meal and the visit. Just remember to bring cash, as they do not take credit or debit cards or checks. There is an ATM available if you need it.
