Covid Killed this location. I am local and yes this location has gone downhill over the past few years. Two of the long time servers there were hustlers . On top of things UNLESS they had to also cook in the kitchen.

Didn't end up at shoney's. I think they are permanently closed. However, before they closed, the one in I believe dublin VA I went to and the food was just amazing. The server was cool as well. Just a great great atmosphere. Sucks a lot of them are closing!

Excellent breakfast buffet! The eggs were fluffy, biscuits soft and flaky, bacon crispy but not greasy, and the home fries were perfection! Fast, friendly service too! Will definitely be back again!

The buffet food was not fresh!!!! I wouldn't give a star at all but u have to at least give one. The service wasn't even tht good. I think our waitress was a lazy one.

The staff here are AMAZING! These are the most friendly people you'll meet! Awesome service! The food was delicious! Waitress was quick to refill our drinks, and checked in to see if we were doing alright often. The service here was a breath of fresh air! When I travel that way again, I will be stopping here for dinner!!

Rhonda and Vicky the waitresses they are the reason we go there every weekend the bar is wonderful the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed
Stopped in for dinner tonight and had an awful experience. The food on the bar was old and dry and the salad bar was all shriveled up and disgusting looking. The service was worse than the food. The few people that were working were sitting at a table hanging out joking and talking loudly. Waitress only checked on us once walking by fast. She threw the pen at my fiance to sign the check. We used to love the breakfast buffet here. We will not be returning. Very disappointed.

The food from the Christmas buffet was not good. The table i was seated at looked like it hadn't been wiped properly in a while and the floors looked severly dirty. The saving grace was the cobbler, and the service. The server was kind and nice and well mannered. Those two items are the only reason i did not gibe the place a 1 star
