Agora is the place to go! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. They were booked for the night, but made it happen for us to be stared at the bar when it was full as well. Sebastian the bar tender was very attentive and quick with the service. He made amazing drinks and was kind! 10/10 recommended

We visited for my mother’s 70th birthday. Ozer was so wonderful. He made our night — his hospitality, food suggestions, and photography skills. The food was exquisite. So many great dishes. The octopus and pistachio soufflé were standouts.

I came here with my cousin for her birthday brunch and the experience was wonderful. Our server Ozer was phenomenal.
Had a great experience at Agora. Went for brunch with a group of friends and everything was great. Food was delicious and our server Cagri was very nice :) will definitely be back!

We had such a great time. We were seated at the chefs table and it was amazing to see the high standards of the kitchen as we were eating. We were served by Ozer, he was amazing and had a great knowledge of the menu.
Some places you can see the service team is merely checking the boxes and going through the motions.
Agora is the exception to the ordinary in the best ways possible. Where can you get an exceptional 'tenderloin' entree for less than $30? and recieve exceptional hospitality? At Agora you can and we highly recommend it.
The Sea Bass is extraordinary, the Babaganoush - off the charts, the dolmadas are very good, and cocktails were some of the best in NOVA. The service was unmatched, as well as the fact we showed up to celebrate our 10th engagement anniversary without a reservation and were able to be immediately be seated. I don't recommend trying this after 5:15 pm without a reservation as the place was slammed and for good reason.
The atmosphere is electric with high energy yet the ability to fully enjoy a conversation. We plan to return many more times in the days ahead, and admittedly have enjoyed Agora previously before relocating to the McLean area.
One last thing, you know the heart of the business when you understand the heart of the owner, having met Ismail Usla by random chance earlier that day, he had no idea we were already planning on visiting his business later that day for dinner.
We had never met before, and I made no mention of our intent to visit his business, yet he respected and treated me like a long lost friend. It was truly a blessing and honor to meet such an individual, knowing all of the challenges and issues that often unnecessarily divide us, that you can leave a conversation feeling energized and optimistic that the world is better for entreprenuers like him.
Brought my friend here for a birthday dinner, and I was so impressed! The food was delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. The manager, Yunus, was incredibly kind and even surprised us with a little birthday gesture for my friend—such a thoughtful touch! The Turkish red wine Yakut was surprisingly tasty with a smooth finish and the smoky Bourbon! They’re definitely in high demand. While private group dining can limit available seating due to capacity, smaller groups might enjoy a bit more flexibility during early dining hours. We had a delay with placing our orders as only one menu was brought for the party of two. Also, for guests who aren’t familiar with Turkish cuisine, might need a little extra time-and/or server’s engagement/suggestions could have been helpful too. Otherwise I’m sure we wouldn’t have exceeded two 2hour dining as there were guests waiting to be seated. Besides few challenges we spent a nice evening at Agora -it’s absolutely worth it!
