Was in the area having lunch and decided to come here for a coffee rather than mainstream spots. I’ve been in Turkey six times and this reminds me of Istanbul. 100% authentic and Saher is the nicest person on earth. 10/10 highly recommend and go for the classic Turkish coffee for authenticity. The pistachio drinks are delicious too!

It's a nice space with very tasty tea, turkish coffee and assorted sweets. It's a comfortable place to sit. The service is a bit unfriendly and strange and it is breathtakingly expensive.

By far one of my favorite places to relax and have coffee in Olde Town! I went here on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by the smiling owner passing out free samples of Turkish dumplings and candy to celebrate the end of Ramadan. The decor is enchanting and the coffee is absolutely exceptional. They have Turkish flavor profiles that you won't be able to find anywhere else in the DC area. The staff made sure me and my friend were well taken care of. There is very limited seating, but don't let that stop you from taking it to go and enjoying in a nearby park. I plan to come back for their morning breakfasts which I attached a photo of. A small business gem of a find and worth going out of your way for!

Turkish Coffee Lady is more than just a coffee shop, it’s a true community space. From the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth, culture, and intention behind everything.
The owner is one of the kindest and most supportive small business owners we’ve met. She welcomed us with open arms and even collaborated with us for a wellness event with our Academy. Her support, especially while running such a busy shop, meant so much to us.
Everything here is authentic, imported from Turkey, and thoughtfully curated. The seating is cozy, the atmosphere is peaceful, and you’re encouraged to slow down and enjoy the experience.
If you’re in Old Town, this is a must-visit!
Turkish high tea experience was phenomenal.i was hoping to end with coffee but had too much caffeine already.
Pastries are all excellent. Like 4 different baklava type desserts all amazing. I've been wanting to try the syrup soaked desserts for a while and this was the best sampler option in the area. The Turkish black tea is incredible. 10/10 on strength and flavor.
A great first experience that has me longing for more.

Turkish Coffee Lady in Old Town Alexandria is unlike anything else in Northern Virginia. Gizem White built the Golden Horn High Tea as a full cultural experience — and she delivers on every level.
The afternoon unfolds beautifully: tea to start, followed by Turkish delights and sandwiches, and Turkish coffee to close. Every small plate is made with care, every gold-plated cup is a moment, and the hand-painted copper kettle sitting at the center of it all tells you exactly what kind of place this is.
This is a woman who bet on herself and built something the DMV didn’t know it needed. The attention to detail here is extraordinary — from the presentation to the warmth Gizem brings to every single guest.
If you’re looking for something that goes beyond a meal and actually takes you somewhere, the Golden Horn High Tea is it. One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had reviewing restaurants across Northern Virginia. Book it.

I always go for my mango frappe because is the best in the area. I mean it when I say the best. Service and atmosphere is always 💯! But I do not know what happened last time, they sold me something that’s is NOT what I asked for. I pay almost $11 for one drink.
This time I got it for my husband also. What a waste of our time and money. I’m so disappointed not only because I was craving it so bad, but I asked for Coconut milk amd it looked like it was made with water. I’m sorry,
but it was just a bad experience given the time of the day and traffic to come back to the store and give them the opportunity to redeem themselves.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea - with the tea was so flavorful and served in beautiful teapots, and the food served was so much more than we expected and so tasty. We even got a pot of apple tea - to round off our authentic Turkish tea experience.
