We visited Turkish Coffee Lady in Alexandria for the first time and really loved it. We tried the Silki Mardin Turkish coffee, the pistachio latte, and a dessert, and everything was delicious. The place has a lovely atmosphere, and we will definitely visit again.

I don't drink coffee, but I enthusiasticly participated in this adventure with my wife and daughters. It was fun to sip the traditional coffee and eat the Turkish pastry. Very small, but very cozy. The owner came out and gave us personal attention.

I highly recommend the silky mardin coffee with no sugar and tres leches cake.
We really enjoyed the coffee here. It came with a water and I think a Turkish delight candy. My husband thought the candy was a lump of sugar and put it in his coffee which was hilarious. I let him take a bite of mine so he knew what it tasted like.
I got a Turkish bagel with cream cheese also. Seating is very limited and people tend to linger so be prepared for no seating on the weekends.
The shop itself is very cozy with Turkish music playing in the background. We got the coffee pretty quickly, I wanted to try the dumplings but she said it takes about 20-30 minutes to make so maybe next time.

Gizem and Hasan were incredibly gracious during our visit here. We only got drink, but the tea was splendid and I was told by my friend the coffee was incredible. The cafe is decorated with phenomenally exquisite art, and we were lucky enough to be shown around the art gallery (I'm still eyeing that cornucopia!). Gizem and Hasan made us feel very welcomed and the atmosphere of the cafe really plays a hand in that. From the music, the beverages, the art hung up on the wall, the videos playing on the TV, to the gracious hosts, this cafe really was one of a kind. We walked out of here saying how our visit really made our day, and I can't wait to come back. I've always wanted to go to Turkey - Istanbul specifically - but this only furthers my desire to. If every cafe was like the Turkish Coffee lady, then going out for coffee would feel like being welcomed, not just served.

This is my go to spot in Alexandria! The atmosphere is stellar. The first time I stopped in, I knew next to nothing about Turkish coffee. Gul made sure I felt welcomed and well taken care of... and every time since!
Try the blueberry cake and make sure you take extra baklava home.

The Turkish Coffee Lady is a true hidden gem in Old Town Alexandria! The pastries are delicious, and the coffee selection is exceptional. The coffee shop is full of rich, authentic flavors. The staff is warm, friendly, and provides consistently outstanding service. For the high quality of products, the prices are very reasonable. We find ourselves returning multiple times a month because we love it so much. One of our favorite traditions is having our coffee grounds read each year! It’s a fun and surprisingly accurate experience to share with friends! 😃
Cute place and tasty food! The best combination!
