Our friend but us baklava as a gift and they were so yummy from here, so we decided to come in today. Baklava was yummy. Not too sweet and appeared fresh.We came on a Wednesday, We ordered one of the Turkish dumplings that she reheated. Outside tasted fresh but the inside was cold like the beef inside has been refrigerated. Maybe it was not fresh after all. And it cost $9 dollars. This is where I left dissatisfied.Baklava are a bit on the small side for &2.50-3.00. Charges for city tax in addition to regular tax.

If you've seen this place before and have thought "next time I'll stop in" this is your sign to go inside! The Turkish Coffee Lady is incredible! She has created an atmosphere just like a Turkish coffee house and is so knowledgeable and friendly. I Don't have anything like this where I live and it was such a treat to stumble upon Turkish coffee and treats. Grab a pastry or 5 and enjoy your coffee!

Absolutely amazing! The food is incredible, the coffee delicious, and the atmosphere is very nostalgic and reminds of my travels to Istanbul .. service is prompt and one of the ladies was quick to clear our dishes and even graciously clean our table. highly recommend !

I have had a history of disappointment with previous employees, but recently everything has been great. Good coffee, delicious baklava. I don’t understand why their servings of tea are small, unlike ordinary Turkish cafes.

Favorite neighborhood coffee shop, go for the Turkish coffee and baklava, stay for the cosy ambiance and people watching on King Street. Day or night, this place is a great local coffee shop with beautiful art, great service, and delicious fare. Would highly recommend to others.

This is absolutely the best coffee I've ever tasted! I had the Mardin blend and it was silky smooth and bursting with flavor! Turkish Coffee Lady was truly the highlight of my first visit to Old Town Alexandria and it will not be my last.

Three of us visited this morning for first time and Turkish Coffee Lady was a treat! Very friendly service; we were assisted with our order. Many savory and sweet pastries to choose from! We had some of both as well as Turkish coffee and it was all so delicious. Love the Turkish coffee service. Then we sampled the Turkish tea which was equally delicious. This place is unique and worth the visit. We will be back.
