We were at Slater Run Vineyards for Mother's Day Brunch. The food and wine pairings were well done, delicious and honestly, perfect! The setting and service was outstanding.

I will say that the wines are excellent. It's rare that you find a location where not one, but all of the wines are fantastic. Beautiful area and quiet with the absence of kids/pets.

Now the bad. There are one or two ladies working behind the bar that seem to constantly be in a bad mood. Before signing up for a membership, it felt very different. Knowledgeable about wine and bubbly personality (I forget who signed us up, but she was great.). After that first time...different story. Grumpy and stiff attitudes when walking in. No hello or welcome in. The tasting was brief and professional, but uninspiring. Ended up canceling my membership and going elsewhere.

Nice winery nestled in Virginia wine country. I had the First Bridge Bordeaux. Nice wine with a smooth finish. Great place to stop off on a wine tour.

I did not like the food options. Staff was very nice.

Do not order the charcuterie tray. They give you a basket with wrapped cheese, packaged crackers, meat in the store pack and expect you to prepare it for yourself. Seriously not what I expected for a very large $.

Beautiful views! Knowledgeable staff!! Great wine! Wine education in their tastings! Sarah was amazing giving me a tasting from their preselected tasting menu! She was very patient answering my questions and talking with me about the wines, the history of the property, and community aspects of Slater Run. When Sara was not positive of an answer to my super specific question about a wine, she said she was very sure it was xyz but then looked it up to be sure—- she was always correct! The tasting room is gorgeous with lots of great seating, outdoor seating offers beautiful views at every angle and definitely a great community feel by facilitating conversation in various seating sections. They offer great classes every Sunday! Cannot talk this winery up enough! 10/10

Cool place, crab food truck was sooo on point.
Wine choices are great, and on your easy there, make sure you're driving through the paved road and not that 5 miles off road / gravel path.

We'll definitely return.

This is our favorite winery in the area. Great staff and even better wine.

Fantastic winery close to Middleburg, Virginia with a great selection of reds, whites, and sparkling, many of which are produced on the vineyard. The tasting room is extremely spacious with many “nooks” that different groups & parties could occupy without the room feeling cramped. The tasting room has large windows looking over the vast and beautiful vineyard. By pure serendipity, we were able to meet one of the owners & get a tour of the property. It was an awesome experience, and we’ll surely be back!

We have a bed and breakfast five minutes from Slater Run. When guests ask us where they should go wine tasting our first choice is unequivocally SRV. The wine is fabulous - made with care and intention. The people are lovely, the setting idyllic. Need I say more??

For an impromptu girls day out, 3 friends and I drove from southeastern Loudoun County to Slater Run, about 25 minutes. On a Monday afternoon it was quiet with only a few other people there, but that meant we had our choice of tables, the almost undivided attention of the staff, and a great experience tasting different wines. We really appreciated the no kids, no pets rule which I know won't appeal to some people, but for us, it was the deciding factor in our choice of this winery over all the others as we drove along Highway 50. The views are stunning, it's peaceful, and there was a variety of seating options. It was a lovely afternoon and we'll be back!

There was nothing artificial about my recent wine tasting experience at Slater Run. Nothing but pure poetry to my palate:Amidst the vines of Slater Run's estate,Where terroir's voice in every drop is heard,A symphony of flavors they create,In wines that grace the table, undisturbed.Le Blanc de la Terre, a pale gold stream,With notes of green and blossoms that delight,Upon the tongue, a dance of acid's gleam,Minerality, a whisper in the night.Le Cuvée Élégance Rouge, a tale unfolds,In Bordeaux blend of varietals rare,Black currants' notes and cherries' secrets told,With graphite hints that fill the fragrant air.L'Élixir du Domaine, a ruby sea,A treasure trove of scents that one must seek,Blackberries, truffles, violets set free,On velvety palate, eloquent and sleek.Slater Run's estate, a homage to the past,French tradition blends with a modern flair,In wines that shall forevermore outlast,A testament to art, devotion's care.In iambic pentameter's embrace,These wines enchant with every sip we take,A toast to Slater Run, a special place,Where terroir's voice and vintner's skill partake.
