I’ve come a few times over the past 18 months or so. Walking into the tasting room the views are really quite nice no matter what time of year. Staff are friendly and have tons of knowledge on wines and grapes. Lovely experience
Came with a bigger group and was able to request a reservation inside. We could bring our own food, the outdoor area in the back was nice with solo stoves, the tasting room was modern, and the views of the vineyards were pretty good. I didn't like how you had to be served at your table and could not go up order yourself like most tasting rooms as this us slowed down and our waitress was a bit rude. I had the most wonderful experience at Slater Run Vineyards! Just a short drive from DC, the property is absolutely stunning with sweeping vineyard and countryside views. I was welcomed with such warmth and enjoyed a private tasting guided by the owners, which made the visit feel so personal and special.
