I really wanted to love this place, especially since we are huge fans of Lake Gaston Pizza (same ownership), but our dinner experience at Kennon House was a disaster from start to finish.
The Service & Atmosphere

Today was my 1st day eating there and the catfish was very good season properly the fried chicken yes it was okay seasoned good fresh and high overall customer service was great beyond was very friendly and nice it was a good dry but we went there and we'll return again to retreat the service once again enjoyed everything thank you for your great hospitality

We Both Had The Seafood Platter, It Was Delicious, If You Leave Hungry, It's Your Own Fault.

The Kennon House was very good catfish and fried chicken that were seasoned properly and fresh. The staff were phenomenal and friendly and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The service was great and wonderful and the customer was very friendly. The food was out of this world; ribeyes, Ribeye, CHEESY Collards, Green Beans, hot rolls, bbq, coleslaw, Seafood Platter and the Salad Bar were amazing. The chef knows how to make soul food and the menu is incredible. The place is a hidden gem and a MUST VISIT. The hospitality was great and the staff return again. The Kennon House was a great place for eating.
