We ordered basic items. They told us they had no chocolate chips for the pancakes, no lemonade, one serving of bacon, no lemons, and no biscuits. Oysters were bland and gross. Don’t recommend going here. They do not take card, only cash and didn’t give me my pennies.

An hour to have breakfast is unacceptable. Kitchen help yelling at each other, one dish served slightly warm. Been eating there for 20 years, worst experience ever. Never again.

Today, 10/3/2025. My friend and I went today and after waiting 20/30 minutes no one greeted us or even acknowledged us. Both servers (pink hair and older blonde lady) were ignoring us. We got there at a similar time to other patrons and they were served and had their food by the time we decided to leave. Didn’t help that we were the only women of color in the restaurant. If you are person of color you’re simply not welcome here.

Passing through and stopped in for breakfast. Cool place, nice people. Got a #2 - you could tell home fries came frozen and were over cooked in the deep fryer. Bread was dry. Neither biscuits or sausage gravy home made either - and you could really tell. Fine to go to if you need food, but low quality.

Food is ok but super great value. Their sides need some help and if you don't want chips you have to buy a whole new side which makes the meal much more expensive. They should just let you upgrade the chips for a couple dollars more. Also, could do better than 3 options of pie for desert.

If you go through Verona don’t miss this gem. This is a longtime family owned restaurant with excellent food, a varied menu and prices better than fast food. Portions are large and served hot with drinks refilled regularly.Bring cash as they DO NOT accept credit cards. (At these prices who could blame them😐)
