“We have been meaning to stop and have a bite, did today for lunch and it was fabulous! The sausage minestrone soup (homemade) was delicious and my husband's hotdog was not only huge but so good, really didn't need the potato salad as a side but glad he got it. We were treated above and beyond by the lady we met at the counter who took our order, prepared our order and served us! This is truly a hidden gem in Verona Virginia, nice quiet, friendly spot!”

“We stopped by today and got A sliced beef sandwich and a pulled pork sandwich. Awesome proportions. Got a side of Mac n cheese and chili. Everything was seasoned great; very nice complementary bbq sauces, especially the horseradish. Even better prices! We’ll be back! I’m going to order ribs ahead next time!”

Few issues the wings man always over cooked always .. the wooden bench seats are awful ..other than that the food is great sometimes and good anthor but it's always good . Love the pizza . “So I read the older reviews before posting mine and see that there are some harsh comments. Here is my experience at 1330 on a rainy and cold day - was the only customer and Tue staff was very friendly to me - though I started off joking with them, so maybe that set the tone. Chicken sandwich and burger. Cheesy tits and iced tea and dined in. Food very good - the dining area was clean and tidy. Crown on every table. So my experience was a 5 - no one ride to me - tho I don't tell people they are rude - even when they are - not my place and only leads to more negative experience- in my opinion”

“Just wanted to give a shout out to Hardee's for great idea of making heart shaped biscuits. I was feeling down one day and went to get breakfast, opened my container and there was a heart shaped biscuit. It made my day! Thanks Hardee's!”

“I went through the drive-through. I ordered the filet-o-fish meal. The drive-through was moving smoothly and quickly. My food was hot and fresh. My only complaints are the half slice of cheese they put on the fish sandwich, and they didn't give me salt and pepper. Customer service was great.”

“I wish I would have taken pictures of the food, but just know it’s delicious! The staff was so friendly. I haven’t met such a friendly bunch in a while. We were supposed to eat an another place, but they were closed for an event. We all said thank goodness or we would have missed out on this place. The carnitas tacos were juicy shredded pieces of pork. The Achiote tacos weren’t dry and the flavors all were fresh. The super nachos are HUGE…like two people huge! The burrito bowl was the perfect size. Their refried beans, guac, and homemade tortillas were all delicious as well. The corn tortillas were the perfect thickness, this didn’t tear and fall apart as you ate. Their chips and homemade salsa were good and fresh too. I received a surprise pork belly taco….still drooling over it. The lady at the register ordered me one to try and it sounded like I was not going to like it, but I was WRONG. The crunchy corn nuts definitely were a yummy treat. The pork belly was perfectly cooked and not a fatty mess. I would definitely eat here again! Don’t be fooled by the small size, they serve up some big flavors!!”

“Gantt was the type of bartender that feels like he already knows you...I appreciated the warm welcome and speedy service!! Best burger I've had in a while hand's down the beef fat itself was delicious and it was cooked perfectly garnished with Xtra fresh tomatoe and lettuce choice crispy bacon and a delicious smoky bacon aioli...cheers to the metal glassware its honestly brilliant. “We went for lunch with our kids and were instantly greeted by Alejandro, this guy is awesome. He totally sold us on how amazing their food was, suggested with great alliteration what to get and gave us recommendations of what to do around town. We had two to the happy kids plates with cheese burgers, both kids loved them and their little toys. My wife and I shared a Remedy, Ballard Burger and Loaded Fries. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be returning our next time in town.Kid-friendliness: Alejandro instantly engaged with our kids and made great suggestions for their meals.”

“Gloria's is an amazing place with super authentic food and incredible service.I carry fond memories of Salvadoran food, and this was as good as any I've enjoyed in the past. We'll definitely be frequent visitors.We had the pupusas revueltas and fried yuca with chicharón, followed by fried plátanos for dessert. The tamarind juice was so refreshing, and they stock a nice choice of bottled and draft beers.Vegetarian options: Many of the pupusa choices are vegetarian.”

“This bakery is like nothing you have ever seen. The cinnamon twists are longer that a 12 inch diameter plate, and are flavorful and delicious down to the last crumb. I haven't tried their espressos yet, but I BET YOU they are as good, if not better than their own pastrys. I had the apple turnover (? Honestly, I don't remember what it was called) and it was amazing. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.”

“We go here for dates regularly because we can find healthy options. The prices are reasonable and wines n cheeses are diverse and delicious. They also have a good selection of regional ciders and beers. One suggestion we'd have is to list a gluten free option or ALL the ingredients on the cheese plates because we always forget they come with bread and crackers and have to send it back.”

“Delicious well prepared food with outstanding service. Fried haddock was perfectly prepared, catfish was spicy but delicious, and my daughter devoured the lobster Mac n cheese. Would recommend to anyone with seafood itch when visiting this charming downtown. And, they do outdoor streets closed dining on weekends. Might be back to visit just to experience that!”

“We love this place. This is our 3rd or 4th visit. We try to stop every time we are passing through Staunton, several times a year. They have a variety of ciders on tap, which differs from visit to visit. We usually get a flight of 6 so we can try the ones we hadn't had before, in addition to our favorites.The vibe is very cool, with a mix of people of different ages. Lots of seating with people playing cards or board games. This time it was a Saturday evening and there was live music and a food truck outside (no food otherwise except snacky foods like bags of chips). The place was very busy, but the bartenders kept up with the crowd.The servers are very knowledgeable about the ciders they have and were able to describe the flavor of each cider. They also serve mixed drinks using the ciders with other things like rum, Gin, juices, etc. We've had a few of those on previous visits and each one we tried was very delicious. We haven't tried them all yet, but we'll get to them eventually!And for those non-cider fans, they have a cooler with some cans and bottles of beer. They also sell some of their ciders by the bottle, and we've taken some home with us in the past.
