I love the Soltani and Kobideh, and Mast Mosir here. But the Chenjeh was so hard to chew. Also, a very small pot of tea was $16, and they claimed that was for 5 people. We ordered Bamiye that came in tiny sizes and paid $7.99 for 10 small pieces. Also, there's no kids' portion. The food portion was less compared to last month.
We visited Alborz after being recommended by our Iranian friend. The restaurant’s ambiance and service exceeded our expectations. The highlight of our meal was the kubideh kabob, a dish that left my wife and me craving more. It was flavorful, tender, juicy, and simply delicious. While we weren’t particularly fond of the Mirza Ghasemy (possibly due to our aversion to roasted eggplant), the rest of the menu was a testament to the restaurant’s reputation...
Everything at Alborz is always perfect except one small thing. They use a lot of oil when cooking. I have dined both in person and ordered delivery and the food is very oily. Especially the stews. Everytime I order stews for delivery, I use a spoon and remove half a cup of oil that is floating at the top of the stew. If they reduce the amount of oil used when cooking then everything will be absolutely perfect.
