Everything at Alborz is always perfect except one small thing. They use a lot of oil when cooking. I have dined both in person and ordered delivery and the food is very oily. Especially the stews. Everytime I order stews for delivery, I use a spoon and remove half a cup of oil that is floating at the top of the stew. If they reduce the amount of oil used when cooking then everything will be absolutely perfect.
The food was delicious,we had the kabobs, koobideh, barg and Cornish hen, and 1 person had the ghormeh sabzi. I also ordered the zereshk polo, and was impressed with the amount of zereshk, but didn't care for how overly sweet they made it. If that wasn't so sweet, they would have earned a 5 star. 🙏🏽🌺
